Post2Post Could you do an update on some of them from time to time. Especially leagues like JRS, we have 2 new teams in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) in New Mexico and Maine making their debut this upcoming season. We also have had a couple of teams switch cities in recent years.
Hey Neil, great video! Just a little info on the 3 Connecticut teams. The Roughriders actually do own the rights to that horse head logo, and the CT Oilers aren’t in the same league, the two teams are owned and ran by the same people, the Oilers is a post High School Junior team, the Roughriders are for players still in High School. And as for the Chiefs, Connecticut has a huge Native American influence and background. The state name itself is an Indian name (originally Quinnehtukqut). A good portion of towns, lakes, rivers etc. still have Indian names.
I’m a Jersey girl! I can’t believe Neil convinced Kale to like New Jersey more lol! I’m personally not a big fan of that logo though. The colors remind me of what a New Jersey license plate used to look like. Oh and the team are called the 87s because New Jersey became a state in 1787
Interesting observation: the Oilers and Roughriders share the same shield and font. Also, the Spartans is a rip off of the recently abandon logo of UNC-Greensboro.
Tres Lawless the Oilers and Roughriders are owned and ran by the same people. It’s basically the same organization but the Oilers aren’t even in this league😂

You guys missed every detail on the Philly Rev logo... The hockey stick is a sickle (hence the long blade), The fire in the eyes is the Philadelphia city skyline, the nose is the cracked liberty bell, 13 stars for the 13 colonies, and the hand holding the stick has a middle finger raised just a tad to let em know we don't like you. Anyways, entertaining vid.
Team Extreme sports Lol my team was growing playing minor hockey was the Grande Prairie Storm but they we used the Minnesota Wild jerseys before switching the Nashville Predators blue jerseys
If it was EJPHL (or whatever it is) I would actually get jealous. 😂 I didn't make the cut for the Roanoke Jr. Rail Yard Dawgs AA/Elite team. Welp, next year maybe.
Connecticut has two casinos Mohegan sun and Foxwoods so it is a very native Americans state even the name of our state is a Native American word long river. Most rivers in our states are Native American words you missed the mark on this subject guys

Pretty much it is flawed thinking to not associate a state with any Natives, they all had at least a few tribes besides maybe like Rhode Island, and it may have even had a couple. The most famous Connecticut tribe I can think of is the Mohegans. And that goes for Canada too, pretty much all of it has a tribe, whether it be a branch of the Inuit,Cree or whoever. I recently learned about the tribe that lived on Newfoundland called the Beothuk who sadly there are none left of. Of course my city of Spokane, WA in of itself is named after a local tribe whose name means "People" or "Children" "of the Sun". Our baseball team the Indians latest jerseys have the Native American writing on it even and one of the buildings at the community college I went to was the local native word for "trade/commerce". And the Spokane were considered a branch of the Inland Salish (aka Bitterroot Salish looking it up). As opposed to the Salish that lived on the coast near what is now Seattle,Tacoma and that area. Who were neighbors of the Chinook who lived in the area of Vancouver, BC. See, thats the things with Native Tribes, there were hundreds of them and then most of them were considered to be related to larger groups. Like the Iroquois who lived in upstate New York were several associated tribes who eventually banded together and formed sort of a pre-White man version of a tribal council who would meet. Each part of the tribe would have a chief (what we would call a Governor pretty much) and they would meet to discuss things with the other "Governors". So it can be pretty complicated as far as what tribe belongs to what larger ethnic label and language. But pretty much all of the USA and Canada had one in every area. Even Hawaii, the Hawaiian people are pretty much a "tribe" of the larger group known as the Polynesians which also include the native New Zealanders "Maori" and Samoans and such.
I'm definitely aware of how far spread Native Americans have resided since their arrival 13,000-20,000 years ago. Their original story is pretty incredible! In the video I just meant there are some states that don't typically get recognition for their Native American culture as much as others.

It's a USA Tier 3 junior hockey league
The EHL is a Tier 3 Junior League. Tier 3 Junior is just the American way of saying Jr B
The logo @ 8:38 is also an NAHL logo
Just as i thought there were no more league's logos to rank...
There are too many more leagues, and endless amount, unfortunately.
@@Post2Post im fine with these videos, keep up the good work👍

@@Post2Post Why didn’t you say the Seattle Seahawks or even mentioning the NFL?
LOL that "JR Flyers" logo makes me think of Jeremy Roenick when he played for Philly.
The New York Bobcats has the same logo as the bismarck Bobcats
The North Carolina Golden Bears in a copy of the UofA (university of Alberta) Golden Bears Hockey Team same colours too!
You should do collage team logos
The thing that’s cool about this list is that some of us that watch your videos get to see our teams on your channel
SunSet Shot yeah, most of these teams were youth teams too that I remember playing against often as a kid
Also the word Connecticut is a Native word as well as a lot of landmarks
The walpole express head coach is my coach on a hockey camp right now
When Neil said he looks like the Pringle guy with the moustache, I was eating Pringles at that exact moment
5:04 ,It was originally the Boulder Roughriders
The EHL prepares high school and college aged players for college and professional hockey

The Philadelphia revolution logo is supposed to be a Scythe which is why the blade is that long.
It is intentional; grim reaper / hockey stick combo
I used to play on the wizards and we were rivals with the jr rangers but now I play for the edge
I'd love to see them do a logo ranking of the USPHL junior league
Cool vid
The Golden Bears logo colors were inspire by U Alberta. As well as the golden bears name. That's where the GM/Coach grew up played.

I actually used to play for the Boston Jr. Rangers. Then I moved to the Spartans because they’re closer to where I live
Is there a way to get them to rank certain leagues? Like if there is a way I can get the MMJHL from Manitoba that would be cool.
