If schools could actually punish students then these assaults wouldn’t happen (as often). This is not just an issue at Jewell Schools; schools cover up these predator children everywhere. From my experience the schools want assaults covered up, for parents to not file charges with police, and keep it all in-house. They don’t want outside influences to know how out of control the schools actually are. Even to the extent of transferring a kid from one school to another without any sort of mental health referral for the perpetrator. They don’t help the kid, they just move them around so they find other victims. Absolutely NOT helpful. These kids shouldn’t be allowed in the general population when they are committing actual crimes against their peers.
