Nada Surf has been with me all along this ever winding road from adolescence to fatherhood. Through joys and heart breaks. This band still somehow finds a way to make me feel like that young man just trying to find his way and really I still am still trying to find my way. This song reminds me to slow down and enjoy these fleeting blessings all around me sometimes the journey is the destination.

It’s interesting and I mean this in the most positive sincerest way possible… In someway, the song reminds me of Joni Mitchell’s looking at life from both sides now don’t ask me why, but that song from her came to mind as I was listening to this and I mean that as a compliment by the way.
