Thank you so much. I've never had a father to teach me any of this stuff so I immediately panicked, thinking I needed to spend hundreds of dollars to get this replaced. Thank you again!
You are very welcome, and you can reach out to us any time. 😁👍
My diverter fell out, and I was able to fix it after watching your video. Much appreciated. If I called the maintenance person in my building to fix it, he would probably laugh at me. I ended up watching some of your other videos and I think I could do some of those things now as well.
Ty. I live in a rental where they usually take 3 months to fix anything, and the little screw cap on this constantly comes off on mine. Was trying to figure out how to put it back together so I could shower 😂

We are honored to help. 👍👍 to you for making it a DIY project.
Awesome video. You saved me from losing my mind over how to reassemble the diverting mechanism since it fell out of the faucet. Thanks for posting this video. 👍
We are happy to help, good morning to you. Losing your mind is definitely no fun, we are happy to hear our video was helpful. 😁👍☕️

You did exactly what I needed. Mine came with a little spring, which most people don’t seem to be using?
Just changed mine after watching ur video(especially the direction of the rubber gasket) and it worked perfectly! Thank you!
After watching many videos, I found yours!
This is so simple to follow.
Thank you!!
( our diverter rod pulled out totally this a.m.)
Thank you, we are honored to read this. Hopefully your project went well.
😁👍
Yes it did!

Thank you for the follow up, enjoy that rewarding feeling. 👍
For me, pulling the shaft up has been / was the problem. Yes, maybe left it for to long.... yes... over the years it got worse.
Due to your video, I had the understanding of how it all works. Thinking I'd need new plastic pieces, I went about pulling it all apart.
At the top of the shaft, the knob, I started to unscrew. This took some needle nose pliers to hold the shaft but I got it off.
I then pushed the shaft down and in turn, the plastic components dropped.
With the whole thing out, I assessed the components. The plastic / rubber looked good. The shaft looked to have "Rust" on it just below the knob.
Put the shaft into a drill chuck, bottom in, leaving the bulk of the shaft exposed and the threading.
I then sanded the shaft, not the threading.
With the cleaned up shaft, I tested if it would pass through the whole easily.
Given the shaft still would not easily pass through the whole, I found a drill bit that matched the shaft size and drilled out the whole.
Shaft slid through the hole, reassembled and tested..... All worked good.
If it was not for your video.... I'd have not have ventured to do this.

Video just what I needed as my tub faucet is spraying water everywhere with little water coming out of shower when I lift the diverter stick. Will try spraying CLR into fsucet to see if it helps.

You are welcome, have a blessed and stress-free day as well. 😁👍🧰
Thanks for the video. The seal looks like it is inverted. Shouldn't the c cup go inside the plastic and not the other way around?
Thanks for watching, this is proper configuration per the instructions. Keep us posted on your DIY project.

this video saved my life. Thanks!
Thanks for watching Joyce, that means the world to us. Let us know if you have any questions. 😎👍
My repair kit came with a spring. Do you have an idea of where it goes?
Question. What if the diverter pulled half way up gives a better shower pressure with water leaking from the spout vs very LOW pressure from the shower pulled ALL the way with no water leaking from the spout?
Thanks for watching, does your diverter have a new kit installed as shown in this video…?…if not, we recommend replacing the spout diverter kit so you have all new parts and a more proper, correct, and efficient running system.
😎👍
You’re awesome! Thank you 🙏
You are welcome, very kind of you to say. 😎👍🧰
You rock. Thanks for this. 👏
Good morning ☕️ you are very welcome. 😁👍
I was hoping you were going to show how to remove the faucet spout from the wall.
Thanks for watching & welcome to the DIY Raptor Club. Below is a link to our video uploaded to different category & shows removal of spout.

I changed the gasket and still leaking some drops ty
Good morning, that’s no fun. Two common causes for this are:
1. Rubber o-ring is installed backwards.
2. Rubber o-ring accidentally got offset or crimped during install making it unable to create water-tight seal.

Any unstruction in how to repair the pull down diverter?
Good morning ☕️
Don’t have a video on that at the moment however it’s on the list. If your diverter face plate has screws, you can remove screws and service diverter. If not, you’ll need to get to opposite side tub.
Do you have access to the back side of shower/tub where the valves are?
If so, you can remove a possible access panel and see the opposite side tub where you can service diverter.
I don't see a link to cleaning the tub faucet that you mention.
We appreciate you watching, we have attached the link below.

Great to hear and we appreciate you sharing this. Enjoy your weekend.
saved me a trip to the hardware store! thank you🙏🏻🛁🫧
I like the suggestion to file away calcium build-up, this does not appear in all the videos.
We appreciate that, and find it very beneficial to do so. Thanks for sharing this, many more helpful videos to come.
I like to turn those gaskets around at all my friends houses. It’s a fun surprise.

Were you able to fix or repair tub spout issue?
Definitely not has easy when the spout is still attached to the wall. A lot of patience. If you are able to lay in the tub and put it together (plastic piece and metal stick) and insert from the bottom and then screw on the top after I would recommend that.
the repair kit link doesnt look like the one that you used in this video
