Fortune Valley was so diverse. One of the strong points of Payback imo

I loved the off road integration, heat and unbound has wonderful cities but there's way too little use for offroad cars
I'll give that. Had a variety of areas all feeling so different, yet naturally fit together, and offroading was a lot of fun in Payback, compared to Heat I also played and offroading there didn't feel like as much to roam around.
NFS 2015 has an awesome map, if it was bigger it woulda been the best imo

Yep, that's a big disappointment. The real Try City Bay map is much bigger and imo far outdid the maps of all previous games.

I played the PS2 version and the PC version and damn, they're two vastly different games, not just in the map! 🤯
I was disappointed when I got the PS2 version on release and realised it's Rockport again (but still enjoyed the game) and was absolutely mindblown when years later I found out tgat the PC version is so much better!

Nah man red view county sucks. it looks good but the city is really small and the map is also really small. You cant even get offroad.

Fortune Valley was one of the best in what free roam means, extremely underrated NFS, it gets even worse when most of the people who criticize didn't even play once, but I have to admit that the Unbound is one of the best maps of modern NFS, let's see what's next coming on!

I love the old school NFS games like Underground / MW / Carbon, but Unbound has a solid map.
And in terms of things to do on it, it's got the most content by far.

I honestly think, Carbon was an map involution because, the potential that map could have with one or two more crews or a secondary crew giving you a duel like you do to Kenji, Wolf, etc. And, not exactly for the map, but Cars Levels were shit too. Muscles, Exotics, Tuners, I love it, but car level 1, level 2 and 3 we're a fucking mistake. I WANNA DRIVE MY PORSCHE CAYMAN FAST AS HELL

The NFS most wanted 2012 looks a lot like the Nurburgring race track at Germany
Rivals and hot pursuit maps felt so similar idk why but it felt so similar

NFSMW 2005 is a legend's map
I loved rivals definitely my favourite of the series, in my opinion it's much better than any other game in the series including most wanted (even though the 8 year old wanna be fanboys cry when you say the game was alright.) Rivals combined everything great about nfs and put it into one game, most aggressive cops, cop and racer career, large map, open world, decent roster of cars, enough customisation to satisfy everyone except the ricer kids, pursuit tech, high replayability and online multiplayer. Although there are some problems like the story is not the best and there are some glitches, the game is still great and really shows the major step forward for nfs from grainy graphics towards smooth "realistic" graphics. Anyway thanks for reading my opinion :).

My dream nfs map that i hope happens one day:
1- Should have a coastal city, something like ventura bay. I really like the atmosphere that city had.
2- have a scenic surrounding county, something with mountains, forests, followed by vast deserts. Like Redview county.
3- something large. Fortune valley felt really big. It always felt like there was something to do or yet to be seen. Even if there wasn't.
i miss soo much nfs rivals, it was my first NFS of the “new generation of consoles”, i always felt bad because people didn't like it very much, but I lost count of how much time I spent playing it
The undercover map has so many patters that are alike to Most Wanted

I always called the first races map in olympic ciry potato, because when i was younger it reminded me of one
While undercover was a clusterfuck and an utter disaster, tri city bay was such a great map, i loved the highway system in it, i think no other game has been able to replicate it and its sad
Also i feel like olympic city would've made such a great freeroam map
2010 NFS Hot Pursuit's Seacrest County had the liveliest map of the entire series. The water moving in the map was the sickest thing ever

NFS series very rarely ever develop a bad map I just wished they start making the maps a little more realistic by adding in large and small airports and on going construction zones on the highway but only on some of these maps. It would make the cityscapes feel a lot more realistic and more of challenge to evade cops.

Someone should make map of Hot Pursuit 2, cuz race tracks from there actually connected.
Hot Pursuit 2 plays in five different locations across at least three different continents, since they name Mediterrania (Europe) and some tropic region (can't be Europe) as two of the regions, while other tracks use North American style street signs, rather than the European design that got adopted by most of the world, including wherever that tropical region is.
