See you in a week! 😁
It has been more than a year... are you still around?
I loved the idea that if it’s marked for today doesn’t mean you have to do it today. It means you will give your ATTENTION to it today !! Wow !! Simple yet very very powerful
yes 😎
Thank you very much. The time you spent on this video is recognizable. Quality.
Thank you, Paul! Hope it was useful to you
I am back after exactly one week. I remembered it because I had set it as a task in Todoist :-). For one week I am using it extensively and I am able to manage my tasks productively !! Appreciate your efforts and thanks for the video !!!
yesss!! No problem, cheers! ~Andrej
Overdue my visit to comments section for one day, but still getting some order day by day. Thank you.
Thank you for this tutorial. It was so helpful because you are one of the few out there to use the free version of ToDoist. I talked to my sister on the phone about her birthday gift as I was deciding between two similar items. She picked one. Then a month later (this morning) she sends me a text asking when I thought it might arrive. So, yes, I need a system. I forgot to order it! Thank you.
Yessss, exactly. This happens daily to everyone! Get a system and be a more reliable human 😀 ~Andrej
It's been exactly one week since I watched this video the first time. Great video. The effort put into the production of this tutorial is translating into positive productivity using Todoist!

Excellent Tutorial
thank you, sir! ~Andrej
Thank you, really enjoyed this and you summarise the GTD and Dale Carneige perfectly, now I don't need to read the material :). Before watching I started organising my Todoist as it became a dumping ground. Now I have a whole section called Health Balancing The Ledger in a board format with sub sections for 1) Spare Time 2) Physical Health 3) Intellectual Health 4) Intellectual Research 5) Skill: Technology 6) Skill: Career 7) Travel: Near 8) Travel: Far. I think it will be useful to look at as it appears almost like post it notes in columns on a white board. This and other sections that have long term ambitions I plan to review every so often and schedule into the calendar. I hope it helps. Also still looking forward to that beer ;)
hey Chris - that was just the tip of the iceberg from the book, there are a lot more useful tips in it :) Good that you found a use for the Todoist boards, I like boards as well but have them in Notion, not Todoist. cheers 🍻
I Actually use the app! Thank you 🤙🏼
no problem! 😀 ~Andrej
I scheduled to write this comment today a week after I watched your video haha. This tutorial was very helpful and your tips are very much appreciated! Thank you!
That's amazing, good job! 👐 And thank you for the comment ~Andrej
Thank you, good video
thanks! ~Andrej
This is one of the best tutorials. Thanks for explaining this so clearly. I will be back in exactly 1 week in the comment section.
Thanks for your comment, Panav! ~Andrej
@@LocalizationAcademy I am back exactly after a week to comment here. And guess what Todoist helped me remember it. In such a short span of time I have started loving this app!!!!!

One week later and here I am!
Thank you Andrej and Todoist!

I've done it for a week, I've tried before GTD, but only from this video, I can consistently doing the flow for the whole week. thanks 🙇♂️.
I'll put another comment in the next month if I can maintain this new habit.
Awesome work, Zidni! Check out the book "Atomic Habits" if you're into... habits 😁 I really liked it, it's very practical and works nicely with what you've learned here. ~Andrej
@@LocalizationAcademy here we go again, I'm back here, seems I locked this new gtd routine/habbit. I'll create another task to put comment in this thread in next three months.
thanks for your great content. 🙏
Thank you sir
cheers ^^
great video
thank you! ~Andrej
I really appreciate ur effort u put on.....👍🎉
I need more ur view on matrix of todoist. Also few features of Tags n Reminders.
Thanks! Unfortunately, I haven't used those features...
nice useful video bro
Thx bruh
Really great video! 25 minutes just flew by!
I saw in the caption "shirt woman" and because the caption was a bit ahead of the video, I was waiting to see what you would say that sounded like "shirt woman." It was "short moment." 8-)
haha, thanks! ~Andrej
This us awesome
Yay
Please do not subscribe, LOL. That is someone who has their priorities straight! Thank you so much for your video. You are a great teacher, personality, and it was extremely helpful. Now I am motivated to start using the app again.
Thank you so much for this lovely comment, Earth Mama 365 😋
Any update on the "do the work for you" feature? I'm still waiting and my tasks are piling up😤
Hey! thanks for this wonderful video. After this video, I feel a heavy stone is off my chest. I just have one question when we have a high-priority task but scheduled for later in the day how to visualize it in the inbox?
If it's a high-priority task, it should come on the top. If there are other tasks that need to be done earlier, maybe give them the same priority and then manually sort them within the same priority? (Not sure if this makes sense). Or just keep it as P1 and whenever you open your backlog for today, it will be there on the top... and then you just start it when you can... (later)? ~Andrej
sounds good. only question : can voice be used to add items to todo list
I don't know about that but it would be good ~Andrej
Done
👏
Hi Andrej, my friend shared your video, I've watched and found it very interesting, thank you. I have always said why should I force myself to remember things when I could perhaps write them down and refer accordingly etc. etc.
Question: Do the 'Today' incomplete tasks automatically move to the next day, and so on? Forgive me if I missed something in your video. Thank you.
Hey Angela, thanks for the comment and question. Yeah, our memory is not very reliable 😀 The incomplete tasks for Today don't get rescheduled automatically for "tomorrow's Today". They'll remain overdue and on top of your queue. Which could be useful if you really have to do them asap.
@@LocalizationAcademy Thanks for your response. I plan to re-watch your video, hope to get back to you in a week or two.
Quick question ... can I keep a record of the done tasks? Then if I forget that I have done something, I can go to my done list and find it. Great video.
I was going to say that "it's part of the paid plan", but no - I can list all my completed tasks now. It even shows a nice Activity feed in my Chrome extension (which I use mostly for Todoist).
hatsoff
thank youu
Great - but I don't have project listed like you have. Do I need to get pro version?
no, all this is free version ~Andrej
Does the app allow you to schedule occurrences? Like I want to workout 3x this week only, can I schedule it to appear until it’s been completed 3 times? Thanks for the video!
I'm not familiar with that. Maybe check todoist.com/help/articles/set-a-recurring-due-date. The way I have it, is I have a task that's set to happen "ev Mon, wed, fri"... So essentially 3 times a week, but I specify the days. ~Andrej
Check out taskade too!
I needed this so much, thank you! It makes me feel less alone to know i'm not alone in being overwhelmed by the endless lists. also, does MIT stand for Meditate Intention Thankful? I use MIG: Meditate Intention Gratitude :)
MIT stands for Most Important Task... Aka eating the frog 🐸 cheers ~Andrej
0:16 I didn’t come here to get yelled at 💀
Did you come for free cookies?
Hey. Can you help me? Can you give me suggestion the best to do apps that not only pop up me with notification to reminder me, but when the reminder appears, i can choose 2 option: Done. If i done my task. And ignore: when i get distracted by something. And then finally that apps can give me report calculations about my habits. Please? Or maybe i miss something?
I was used Microsoft To Do to create my occurring schedule, but when i cant do it on specific time in a day, the reminder will floating even after the next 3 days. I can keep lying to myself pretend that i have done the task by do cross that bullet, but when i do not cross that bullet, the reminder will be floating forever. Can the apps offer me to pick 2 option: done/ignore and then disappear from the task list?
ooff... sorry, but I can't help :/ I go over my to-do list constantly, so I don't need reminders. For tasks that need to be done by a certain time, I just add them to a calendar (although Todoist has reminders too, haven't tried them since it used to be paid feature... or still is). And with calendar I can snooze it... or shut it off when a task is done. But most of my todos are not tied to a particular hour... just a day, so I don't need a reminder for that since I'm checking it all day.
@@LocalizationAcademy
Ooh. That sound of conclusion. Ok then i just stop search that imagine apps. 😥😢 Thanks for the answer, sir.
You are so cool to make your target always done without miss it at all.
My biggest issue, was yearly tasks, or monthly tasks, when you set the date for them to be due, they are always there, and just annoying as hell. I wish Todoist would incorporate the idea of "due date" and "start date" so they didn't show until started! :)
Hey one question: can share a list / project with someone else? In other words, collaborate
you surely can... todoist.com/help/articles/sharing-projects-and-collaborating ~Andrej
you using todoist or toggl or both?
I use both, yes
I am missing the GTD link. GTD doesn't use priority. GTD does use context which I don't hear anything about in this video. So nice if it works for anyone else, but for me the video didn't bring anything new.
El ou El
@@LocalizationAcademy?
Still not getting it.
Hi, Whats MIT? 9:42
Most Important Task ~Andrej
are you still into todoist? :)
Yep, my life runs on Todoist 😁
Is that the girl version of Max Verstappen in the intro?
Mr. Vito,
I have a suggestion for YOUR list. Spend five minutes considering your use of foul language in a video which a lot of ladies and gentlemen might be opening as a legitimate resource. I will be deleting the app because of this totally inappropriate video. (If they ask, I’ll be sure to mention you.)
This is the best comment I've received since I started, thank you, William! 😀 ~ Mr. Vito
Great tutorial until 11:30 on How to add and use projects. The phone does not follow the video, and I have watched three times and tried different ways to get these to go into the projects, but nothing works. A big ask- could you email me or if you have a newer video I would love the link. : )
