The numbering and lettering systems for crochet hooks is absolutely bananas. Every brand does things differently and there's not really a standard. Even if you want to use metric/mm sizing, not all brands use that (surprisingly!). This video covers the variety of labeling for hooks in and around the G/4.5mm range.
