I think the piping world can let you off with that mishap with the video, given the number of hours of fantastic recording you allow us all to listen to! Thanks as always dronechorus.
Outstanding playing from IDPD! What a Band! Inspiring! Will be coming to support you keeping the WPBC 🏆 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
It's fairly obvious that the winner on Saturday was between IDPB and FM. How the hell they came up.with their winner is anyone's guess. Keep your chin up Inverary. Exciting, innovative musical performance. You should be proud.
Love this medley. That waltz at the end is quite something. Not sure if it's the positioning of the mic, but it was hard to distinguish the harmonies from the moving lines towards the end. May have played a role in them finishing 3rd. Just a ton going on both musically and technically, would expect nothing less from Stuart who always pushes the envelope.
The quality of play and skill exhibited is beyond reproach. This is innovative piping and am going to have to get used to it as the standards are stretching far and away from the traditional stuff.
After some digging I found Father John McMillan, Aspen Bank, Braes of Tullymet, Rip the Calico & Capt Lachlan MacPhail on Jim McGillivray's pipetunes.ca but haven't found the others yet... Worth noting PM Liddell is bound to have tweaked settings for most if not all :-) I'd be happy to get my fingers around the basic settings of these great tunes, let alone as performed here :-)
If it wasn't for Drone Chorus I wouldn't be able to enjoy music like this. Eternally grateful !
this band is one of my favorites I like how the harmony sounds in the different tunes in there medley its very haunting

Hear, hear ! The number of times I have accidentally switched off a recording, or forgotten to switch on the mic, doesn't bear thinking about.
That’s a Spicy new medley
So amazing medley
And, again, an awesome sound capture from Sir Dronechorus
The introduction looks quite slick. Well done and as always, thank you!

Well 4 firsts says it all for me 👍
FM and IDPB were really good...the winner i guarantee was picked off off minor differences...like open solos

It was a reprise, so the harmony/slow air was likely meant to be dominant in the last few lines.

Hey I don't mind the slow-mo and title screen thing... Honestly, it gives a slightly artsy approach to the video!
