Sir, your explanation is understandable even for a beginner. I used to side by side see your videos and read NCERT. It helps me in in-depth understanding. Thanks a lot, sir. You are the best guide for geography to prepare effectively for upsc exams.
Thank you sir. Please make a compilation of *concept based questions* in geography (25 or so, & in other subjects as well if you have time) upon which you think questions can be asked in 2019 Prelims. We'll be hopeful for that.
This attempting method has given me the answer that why interlinking of topics is really a must in UPSC! Thanks a lot sir🙏 Will try to replicate this unique and genuine method in every question. A must watch video🌠👍
Dear Sir, first of all utmost respect to you for providing an extremely helpful and beneficial platform for the students. As you’ve asked, I have a logic to narrow down to the correct answer for Questions no 4 (according to this video), pls correct me if it is not good enough. Firstly, it is not a normal thing to memorise all the states which falls on a particular longitudinal meridian, but we can at least remember the states (with a rough cardinal directions in the particular state) which falls on Indian Standard Meridian. Those are Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Orissa & Andhra Pradesh. Now as the narrowing down to correct answer involves eliminating either Hyderabad or Bangalore at the end, we know ISM passes through the Eastern part of UP near Mirzapur & Extreme east of AP. And UP is a very large state and Delhi comes after UP on the west, so we can easily know by the time the longitudinal meridian that passes through the west end border of UP comes, the state of AP must have already been crossed and the neighbouring state of Karnataka will start. That’s how we can come to conclusion to the correct answer.
This channel reduced my fear of geography day by day, now I take interest in geography and have started reading it from the beginning with excitement, I can't be thankful enough for your efforts, thank you so much.. And I have a request, please make a video on tricks to remember like the same that you used for Arunachal Pradesh in this video..
I'm aiming at upsc 2021.. just started with my preparation and find myself at a very productive place.. i like your accent and the way you help in developing that mindset which could think critically.. great work
Sir there r lot of videos on UA-cam on upsc previous papers....but the way u hv explained the questions is just awesome.....it has broadened my mind about how to eliminate rationally....sir plz make videos on other questions as well ....if possible.....
You are just incredible. I recently visited your channel and just love to watch your videos. The way you are teaching us to approach questions is just awesome. Thank you so much
Thank you for this question analysis..it's really helpful to revise before prelims...the way you analysis the question is too good and easily understandable...👍✌
Thank you so much sir...Even though I'll be giving my exams in 2020..This video is very helpful...Expanding my knowledge and knowing what comes in these paper and I what manner...
Sir...Your Video Gives us Different Perspective for Solving Question Instead of Limited Information... I used your elimination technique in every paper...And I Scored 2x Mark's In Test Series....Last year I Never goes Above 69...And This year I used your Tech, Methods, Logic and Score more than 100+ Easily.... Thanks Sir....For Your Helping....! In my UA-cam Channel List I Put Notification Bell On for Only Your Channel... Always Waiting for your Videos..... Sir I request you to Make 1 Video/Week.... Your Channel and Explanation is Best in the World...😍😘
Hello Amit, As usual, you are an incisive educator. Your voice is also strong enough to catch the audience and make them to stick to your videos. Indeed, your deductive reasoning and logical thinking works really good and implementing it is a worth idea. I want you to complete all sections of this paper with the same approach. I really loved it.
Thank you very much ....I think your analysis opened an all new dimension for me i.e., analytical thinking for solving. But pardon me when I say that this skill only comes with time and lots of research. Please do make a guiding video on any further strategies of yours. Very insightful!!
Absolutely loved the video. Very informative and helpful! It would be truly helpful if you come up with crash courses of history and geography! Thanks a lot, sir! 🙂
Respected sir- Wanted to request you to accept my appreciation onto your analysis and seeks God to bless you all the time, but still we are in need of small help, with a small request tht to cmplt the papers of 2019 upsc examination(pre+mains on Geography n economy) as in the same way u did in 2018.....so with all due request please accept my piece of request.
Sir ur logic is extremely useful. Logical way to approach a que, even when we don't have much information. Sir please make videos on Mnemonic. Also on Systematic approach to Optional Geography.
Sir regarding the ques ...on how to logically arrive whether Hyderabad or Bangalore is longitudinally close to delhi....... We just know if we draw a line from delhi it will cut south India into 2 halves now we know the south region where we need to focus is karnataka and Andhra pradesh.....since karnataka and Andra both have to make space in that relatively V section south India.... We can conclude most cities of karnataka will be to the west of the line cut by delhi and east space for Andhra..... Now since we know telangana was created in 2014 and Hyderabad its capital....Hyderabad is in telangana and telangana is more east to the delhi dissecrion line and above AP(east to delhi line ) base thus far away from that line of dissection from delhi...... Now to prove banglore is near the line of delhi and not far west near cost......daily in newspaper it comes artificial lakes of Bangalore r polluted and no treatment.......presence or artificial lake and non revival of water and stagnation on lakes suggests that banglore is not in the costal WG which would have some rivers as Karnataka has hills and terrain near cost which may allow smooth water flow via river......and it cannot be in NW of karnataka as its an IT hub and Nw karnataka being a bit low on tech bussiness.....where south areas close to kerala , tn and AP which are more developed in IT sector Thus Bangalore seems to be on the east or south east karnataka and since Karnataka itself in west to the delhi line (proved earlier).... Thus bangalore may be assumed right in the middle of south India and near the line which if drawn from delhi could bisect south Indian region...... Sorry for this long explanation..... u hv taught a lot to me.....plz check if my logic seems acceptable and correct me if wrong....thank u🙂
Video is of more informative. Nice way of representing a method to look into each question with available information stored in brain. I must work on it.
Sir very thanks for your hardworks ....My only suggestion is please try to use English fully (like for wildlife sanctuaries)... - With love from South India
Hydrabad is located near to standard meridan at vijaywada , compared to bengluru. On the other hand delhi is far away from mirzapur, Allahabad. Thats way it shows the maximum possibility of bengluru and delhi to be locating on same latitude.
