The not having to dress up to go to a theme park message really hit home for me. I follow a ton of theme park influencers, which I think seeps into my subconscious that I need to dress cute when I’m there too, because I like dressing up, but maybe a theme park is not the place for that since I am not an influencer and it’s a vacation for me, I’m not a local who can just pop over to get some cute pics and leave, it’s taking time and pleasure out of the trip if I’m stressing over how I look.
Exactly! You said this better than I did in the video! Because we see so many “cute theme park outfits” that we start to think it’s the standard. But it’s not. Those outfits we see were specifically planned for a photo shoot, not a 12 hour day in the Florida heat. I have to constantly remind myself of that.
Loved the first video and I loved this one! I totally feel this being postpartum for the second time. My body completely changed after my first pregnancy, and I feel like I learned to accept it, but now I’m dealing with a new body all over again. And I definitely feel the frustration of shopping for clothes that weren’t made for you because there are NO clothes made for a postpartum body 🙃 I keep trying to remind myself of all the incredible things my body has done for me and my babies instead of the things I’d like to change about it. I love you, my beautiful friend!
Hi I love you too and your beautiful face! Your body is incredible for giving you TWO wonderful babies. It’s interesting you say there are no clothes for a postpartum body. Because clearly there’s a huge market for it! Why hasn’t capitalism jumped on it?

I had the same issue of following too many fashion people on UA-cam and Instagram and I’m definitely happier now that I’ve cut a lot of that out. I also watch Sierra and Carrie. Love your content

I recommend Maddie Dragsbaek.
She’s way more badass than I’d ever dream to be, but seeing her looks makes me feel more confident to try things.
That said, I’m reallllly struggling with my body right now. I’ve gained a lot over the past year and I don’t know how to dress anymore. I used to know what I felt comfortable and confident in and now those things don’t work for me anymore. It’s frustrating.

Something i learned was that the plus size models are tall and have nice legs and arms. I look like a deformed potato
You do not look like a deformed potato! It’s crazy right? Even plus size models have certain “ideal looks.”
