This high chair has been a game changer and I highly recommend it. You can get it here:

We got a trip trap from our babys aunt, so one tip is to look for second hand options. Emma Hubbard has a good video on how to prop the high chair for your baby, High Chair, How to adjust baby high chair. We hat the baby set but no cushion and instead used rolls of towels to prop up our baby, so she has been sitting at the table since age of 4,5 months. Around 1,5 years we took off the baby set and now at two she can climb in and out the chair, but occationally wants a lift and someone to push the chair to the table. We also use it as a learning tower at the stove or sink, other food prep (and arts&crafts) are done by the table. In addition to high tables tables with a beam at the edge can be a problem for kids knees . We have a fold out part of the table dedicated to our kid with a plastic cower/table cloth that I taped on that part doesn’t have the beam/lower edge like the main table.

Thank you so much, that is a lot of good info. we don't use it as a learning tower since we already have one but that sounds very useful. And I can see how the beam on some tables can be an issue. Thanks a lot for sharing!
