The music video segments is what made the show popular.. you have it all wrong, Beavis and butthead helped keep metal and hard rock in the mainstream during a time when grunge/alt rock was killing metal music off. Again the music video portions of the show is the reason the show is still talked about today.
The music videos are arguably the best part of the show and is what people who were watching it during its popularity remember the most. Although I’ll admit when I some how stumbled onto B&BH as a very young kid, the music videos turned me off

Bring back MTV. Music videos boosted the popularity of bands, and B&B were so great as a part of it.
Beavis and Butthead are the worst part of MTV
being born in the early 2000s, with parents being teens/ young adults in the 70s and 80s i naturally was exposed to the old stuff, good music, good cartoons, outside world etc. one of those was beavis and butthead. i first saw it about age 10 and thought it was cool but didnt really fully understand it. now being the same age as them i revisited it and got hooked as i have the complete mike judge collection. my favorite parts are actually the music parts, as i like modern rap but 90s rap, heavy medal, rock and roll are my true favorites. unlike the normal 15 year olds now who sit on phones all day, me and my buddys go outside, mess around get in some trouble and go to the gas stations. i really wish i was a teen in the 90s, but theres nothing i can do about it so i try to live it as fun as possible while i have the chance
The music video segments is what made the show popular.. you have it all wrong, Beavis and butthead helped keep metal and hard rock in the mainstream during a time when grunge/alt rock was killing metal music off. Again the music video portions of the show is the reason the show is still talked about today.
The collector’s name is Sean Beard!
They fuckin rule!
Woah. That was cool
1 year later they’re now on paramount plus
Beavis and Butthead will go down as the worst cartoon ever
What’s the music video shown at 2:22 - 2:31? It looks cool
Woah! That was cool!
Insane take that the music video segments are the worst part of the show.
Damn! Step by Step! Mad props Miguel!
8:31 the funny scene
The music videos are arguably the best part of the show and is what people who were watching it during its popularity remember the most. Although I’ll admit when I some how stumbled onto B&BH as a very young kid, the music videos turned me off
I was born March 10th, 1992
Good review.
But the reviewer is so wrong about the music video segments. They were cool.
Beavis and Butthead are stupid
Yes, because opinions are a false idea invented by the illuminati, therefore, he's wrong for stating his opinion, as they don't exist.
The music videos were my favorite part
They sucked
Back in the days When people used musical instruments to make music.......
Music segments were the best part, you had to be there. How could you make this video about something you didn’t experience at the time.
Yikes sublime is what you think of from 1992
Sublime yeah
Diarrhea cha cha cha! Diarrhea cha cha cha!
1992... with an N64...
1992 with a N64 damn
I'm 44 I grew up on MTV to really understand how special these 2 are at breakdowns of videos you would have to know what it was like to spend full summers in the 80s with NOTHING ON TV BUT MTV! And so many sucked! And YO Mtv Raps and HeadBangers Ball got 1 show a week. FOR YEARS! Things were so different just a few decades back you guys HAVE NO CLUE!
I used to always try to sneak and watch Beavis and Butt-Head when I was little, of coarse my Mom never let me and that just made me want to watch it more. I distinctly remember that story about the boy burning his trailer supposedly because of the show, I remember my mom making a big deal about it and making sure I knew not to burn our house down after that.
Should have had a SNES not a N64. Lol
No way they are mean and don’t deserve one
I have their newest season and rewatch it from time to time. I miss the music video rants, which they did still do, but BnB making fun of the crap that overtook MTV was hilarious
There new season sucks
Why dislike such a nice video?
Cause he doesn't know shit about the show
n64 in the background? n64 was not out in 92. It came out in 1996. The song Creep released in 1993. Google things man! Some of us lived in the 90s and actually know. Like Beavis and butthead would say, "This channel sucks!"
Kind of like how they suck
Making a porn parody makes zero sense...everyone knows they can't score.
The Nintendo 64 didn't exist yet, either.
In those days you did not accidently stumble on things. Either they were thrown at you or you had to go out to find them. We were mostly hanging on the couch watching MTV clips and commenting out loud. Huhuh. And then there they were. The story bits sucked.
Hector Salamanca
I played the arcade game. It's good, but buggy
I hate the arcade game
