as far as Thrash metal goes this is a magnum opus for the genre in my opinion. however if you are not a heavy metal or thrash enthusiast, you probably won't like this.
I personally don't think you have to be a thrash enthusiast to like this album. That's what imo makes this album so good. I wouldn't consider myself a metal enthusiast by any means. In fact this is only the third metal album I've listened to with harsh vocals on it if thats saying anything. I just love the fact that there are parts of the album with harsh vocals backed with clean vocals and vice versa. It's very creative and I've always wanted a metal band to test that idea. Vektor did more then test it imo.
The only reason i made that caveat, is that most people who are not into the heavy metal spectrum tend to be turned off of thrash/black metal etc- by the vocals.

@joshrm yes, but Fantano always made clear that the ratings are how he personally feels with the album, so it's not nuts to assume that some 10s he likes more than other 10s, hence the need for a "light 10" and a "strong 10"
@joshrm no, bruh, you thinking this way too objectively. Yes, a 10 is a perfect score, but all opinions are subjective. You can rank something obectively as perfect and still like another thing you ranked as perfect more. @joshrm then, with this logic, it would be impossible for one to rank, from worst to best, the albuns of bands like Radiohead, or Pink Floyd, that have a near flawless catalogue, simply cause "all of them are perfect, therefore, impossible to like one more than the other".

That album art is legit. It looks like concept art from Dune or some other 80's sci-fi.
Terminal Redux sits on a mountain, side-by-side with Dreamweaver, made of the corpses of failed and lame concept albums in metal.
