Pam says- Another way to keep your pickles crisper is to add a single bay leaf to the side of the jar. Slight change in flavor, not unpleasant.
I've also seen people use a grape leaf to keep pickles crisp.

There are those ball plastic lids that I use for when I put recipes or storage in the fridge. I don't like to waste a good lid. Love those lids. I was on a winning streak with those lids until the other day when I canned jam. 1 out of 7 jars didn't seal. Still pretty good.

yes
jalapeños can be supper hot also,ones im growing are as hot as bird eye chili the hottest jalapeños ive ever tasted but am growing with some worlds hottest if that makes a difference. next year jalapeños tam type they meant to taste the same but no way as hot so more useful
