Rosana works regularly as a studio vocalist, producer, and voice-over actor, having worked on hundreds of commercials, album projects, publishing demos, and radio IDs heard around the world. Never knew their were words to this song. Always heard the big band versions and played it in a few different Air Force Big Bands over the years. This was OUTSTANDING!!!
I just met these guys at a Jazz Clinique and it was so cool to sing with them and learn music with everyone! (Also to the Alto! I totally look up to you ♥️♥️)

Keeping mind that I LOVE Manhattan Transfer and have for more than 40 years, if group choral jazz were chocolate, then Manhattan Transfer would be a fine milk chocolate and Groove For Thought would be a dark, 80% cocoa bar. This is simply incredible.
I love both.. different eras well represented. 6 part tight harmony is especially difficult. Groove wins this battle..
I'm a little prejudiced here. I was a private voice student of Rosana for several years. She's unbelievable.
One of the cleanest, best conceived scat solo i've heard in a long time. This is the first i've heard of her Will. Im envious you got lessons from her.
She's on the vocal jazz faculty at the University of North Texas, has a few CDs out and a new one coming out this spring. I was once at one of her gigs and during one of the breaks I was talking to their sax player. He said having Rosana in the group was like having another horn available.
They swing better than Buddy Rich! Well Done.

WOW...if you go to the dictionary to find the definition of TIGHT, it should point to this song. AND I just added this bass to my favorites, including Avi Kaplan, Elliot Robinson, and Tim Foust, and a few others. This basses voice is most like Elliot's in this song...smooooth, to the nth degree. GREAT TAKE! Chill bumps left and right. The amount of views you guys are getting here is PATHETIC compared to what your skill should be generating. I will try to point people here, like I do for 7th ave band, etc.
