There is no directly formula between loose and compacted volume. You will need to change the volume to bank and then use the shrinkage or swell formulas
Thank you so much sir! This video helped me understand the concepts. Suggestion sir, why not expand the swell (%) and shrinkage (%) formulas to: Swell (%) = bank - loose --------------------- x 100% loose Same goes for shrinkage, that might become more intuitive in my opinion.
You can also do that. But, its current form allows you to easily relate swell % and load factor .... or the shrinkage % and shrinkage factor. Both ways are fine, personal preference.
