  • Title:- Indian Navy's marine commandoes safely evacuate all 21 crew onboard hijacked MV Lila Norfolk
In a swift response to hijacking attempt of liberian flagged bulk vessel MV Lila Norfolk in North Arabian sea on 5 January, Indian Navy’s marine commandoes safely evacuated all 21 crew including 15 Indians onboard. Sanitisation by MARCOs has confirmed absence of the hijackers. The attempt of hijacking by the pirates was probably abandoned with the forceful warning by the Indian Navy, MPA of interception by Indian Naval warship. According to Indian Navy, INS Chennai is in the vicinity of MV and rendering support to restore the power generation & propulsion, and commence her voyage to next port of call.

wait a moment! Evacuate all sailors of a vessel at sea? And who drives the ship and to where?!? The mighty indian frigate left the vessel adrift, to be vessel-jacked by the iranians? Yeah, they avoided having a hostage situation, but the ship??
