I dug a quarter cut farthing like that near Colchester England a couple years ago with the Nokta Makro Multi Kruzer at about 5 or 6 inches with stock coil. Dirt over there not very mineralized. I think I had it set on 3 tone, 19 kz, and about 90 on gain. Had just bought it before going over there. I had watched your video on the MK and was impressed with your evaluation of it. I also watched one on the Nox 800, I think it was one of your videos. I tried ordering the 800 but the dealer was out of stock so I got the MK. I was really undecided between the two. Did not have enough time to really get used to the MK before going over to England. The guide was making everybody do an air test on a gold celtic stater. I did not have time to set it up to max out on an air test when he came around waving the stater. It did not detect out as far as the Nox and Deus machines but I did not have it maxed out either. He dismissed it saying he'd never heard of the machine anyway etc. etc... He came around by end of tour after seeing me pull out that tiny quarter cut and a gold post medieval stud the same size as the gold staters! Air test have never given me an accurate indication of how well a machine will do out in the field. I was digging small pieces with the MK. Like you said. It's built rugged. The owners manual leaves a lot to be desired though. The Vista X seems to be good at picking it out also! with preset ground balance! Chris from South Carolina

That's excellent depth in real bad dirt, with a relatively small coil, by any standards.
