I am working on missing part word problems with autistic kiddos and I had no clue how to really start. These strategies make so much sense. Thanks!

Good morning, I want to thank you very very much for explaining how to teach addends. I often wonder why my students find it so difficult to find the missing number to complete the sum. These four strategies you have shown me will prove very effective. Thanks a lot. Is there a book with more examples to help me? let me know soon. Keep up the good work. Look forward to different strategies as we try to reach all our students.

I'm trying to get my 2nd grader to count on but some teachers don't like finger counting. What should I do?
