Since Battler isn't using the Illusion of the Witch in this trial AND has to prove that the first body is Kinzo's and 2 of those Knox rules exist about advanced things to kill people and clues have to exist, Battler really *didn't* have to use the Gold Truth there, right?
He did, because of Knox's 2nd It is forbidden for supernatural agencies to be employed as a detective technique. Red truth cannot be used to identify Kinzo's body unless Lambadelta confirms it as the Gamemaster. If the humans could have access to the dental records, it could be confirmed, but in the game the outside of the island has been denied for eternity. By pulling the Gold Truth, Battler identifies himself at Gamemaster level. It signals he understands the rules and the way the pieces works. Kinzo has to be dead for the pieces to move the way they do. Natsuhi would keep the body on hand so the siblings do not find it, and Beatrice is going to use his body in the murders. Being able to use Red Truth does not guarantee one understands everything because Bernkastel can and does not understand everything until Episode 7.
He cant use the Knox Decalogue because, in a sense, it is also a Red Truth. And Dlanor especifically forbiden the use. A Blue Truth attacking this contradiction may be a valid point, tho. Point out loud how Dlanor herself betrayed the Decalogue could be enought to nulify the power it have in all the other Points of the mistery.
I know Battler and Beato are the protagonists I like, but damn, Erika is the villain for who I root for

The funny thing is, Ronove is technically talking to Sebastian Michaelis. Battler's voice actor is Sebastian's
