I wanted to see more from Dorian, he showed up and put out, his opponent was just a little more seasoned in his career. Looking forward to seeing Dorian in the future
Dorian is a high level grappler, on his way to be elite however still a little immature in his style, very akin to the early days of j.rod. Says a lot about Gairbeg. Given Dorians flurry like style, Gairbeg's response showed poise coupled with a great display of technique. Very impressive
I'm so glad you guys uploaded this fight. This was one of my favorite matches of the whole ADCC 2024. I was expecting Oliveiras to do well, but Gairbeg really impressed me. I'm gonna keep an eye on him going forward. This was a great back and forth match.👌😎
I think Dorian’s dad needs to be a bigger clinger to really get his son to the next level. Should have took him out of preschool instead of taking him out of normal school to really be a helicopter dad.
Dorian’s mistake was at 8:38, when he gave up top position chasing that guillotine. His strength is top pressure. He should’ve kept playing to his strength.
@@ihormay3418 the amount of transitions and little details happening one after the other was insane, nonstop action, Kade vs Andrew was more like action packed, more entertaining for the average eye for sure, but this was exquisite imo.

The Russians and I'm guessing the Dagestanis are coming. By the next ADCC/CJI we'll see more of their style. Dorian trained with Gordon, but seems he learned nothing about how Gordon approches ADCC matches. Hopefully he'll me more technical as he gets older.
I doubt it, dagestan is a small region, 3 millions people max, they already produce elite wrestling, and elite MMA. Grappling doesnt have the respect or the prize money for them to compete in.
AIGA says otherwise lol he also hasn't trained with New Wave nearly long enough to have their style influence his game.... If his dad lets it happen....
@@Lockdown335 I hope his dad has Dorian's long term interests at heart, rather than so many parents, which is living their own dream through their kids. I'd like to see Dorian at the same technical level or better, as Helena Cravar, in the next couple of years.

Dorian is a wrestler turned submission grappler, His style is clearly wrestling heavy where Gairbeg Ibragimov plays ALOT more BJJ than the Dage guys in AIGA did.
Lol gairbeg was using guard bjj from bottom most of the march and won. Meanwhile the guy he fought was a division one wrestler with little bjj experience
@@user-vc6 I said grappling style. Dagestan grappling involves the guard. And massive top pressure, patience, and massive energy pools. Not just saying GUARD VS WRESLTING. ADCC style is literally exactly what Dorian does. You prove me point.

One of the best nogi matches of the year alongside with Kade Vs Tackett.

Ibragimov beast💪🏼
I'll never understand that period without points, makes no sense. Watching them be reset feels extra flow-destroying after seeing the wall in action.
Dorian is a spazz.
both these guys are incredible. Dorian is 18 years old !!!!
This was some A1 wrestle Jitsu
Great match!
Gairbeg is a beast, he can slowdown young and athletic dorian

It was incredibly intelligent to play half guard against Dorian, because Dorian destroys open guards.
