@@darkplasmo7921 With something as subjective as art, there’s no such thing as “true”. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and all that. Someone believes it is art, and that makes it art to that one person. Enough people agree that it’s art to put it on display. It is art to them, and therefore, it is art.
After all, just because some people think it’s not art, that doesn’t make it false.

Art is just manmade creativity that's supposed to display a purpose. So, if he made this wiith a purpose, and used creativity to influence that puropse, then technically, yeah.
I mean, it's not like those things where they just kinda stack up cups, without it even forming anything, and call it a night, so.

Its the meaning behind it that makes ot thought provoking art. If some random guy made this and tried to tell me it was art without beung able to explain how it was art besides just "uh its avant garde?" Then its not art. Even seeing humans interacting, watching two strangers who've never met just smile at each other after accidentally making eye contact. It just all feels like art to me. It’s sad that people really fall for this. I guess con art is a form of art

The message is the art, the cube is just the medium.

I think if you have to think about it it can be art.

i think art is subjective to everyone, to me the glass box itself isn’t art but if it was fogged up and had patterns or something i’d then see it as art. (me not seeing it as art doesn’t mean it’s not, it’s all in the eye of the beholder)

Isn't the point of art to make people wonder "hmmm is that really art?"

I like to say it is, cause idk I'm an artist myself and concepts r funi and nature and chemical processes are cool and beautiful and make me think so I feel like it is art, as how nature is, and here the guy works with nature to make a view of the process nature does and maybe it's a more boring art piece than say, a storm glass, but it's still art even if it's not my or your favorite
