- Hello everyone. My goal for this modeling project was to make it easy to assemble and look cool. The only crafting was cutting the fenders. I added camouflage net and resin parts for easy and quick assembly.
In the painting part, I applied weathering with light and dark colors in mind.
皆さんこんにちは。今回のモデリングは簡単に組み立て、かつ かっこよく見えるようにを目標にしてみました。工作はフェンダーをカットしたぐらい。カモフラージュネットやレジンパーツを追加して、簡単時短組み立てです。
塗装パートでは、明暗を意識してウェザリングを施しています。

The side armor plates did not bend like that, they weren't made of sheet metal. Your camo job was fantastic.

For sure, 8mm of armor is hard to bend, It's not as if it's made from tin. The edges can bend but the tops and main part of the Schurtzen most likely will not unless it has a deformity from an HE, or AP round. Maybe some little pin hits from a 12.7mm Dshk etc. from what I have seen in photos. Great paint scheme, very well done.

I don’t think they would cover the radiator with stuff. That 27 L engine produced a lot of heat. I know they would sometimes heat food over it.

You are absolutely amazing. I wish I could be this good. I stopped modeling for a while bc I felt my builds weren’t good enough and I watch yours and get inspired but I know mine won’t turn out this great so I don’t build. Your videos are amazing and you truly are an artist. Cheers from the States.

Hi John, glad you commented. I've made a lot of mistakes too, but I still enjoy modeling. It doesn't matter if you're good or not, it's important to enjoy modeling.

@@gruppenfuhrer45 I totally understand but with each build, you will get better. Remember, we are our own worst critics which is ok bc it inspires us to press on. I wish I was a “natural” at this hobby/art but I’m not. I wish I was a better figure painter but bc I’m not a natural, I just keep practicing. Don’t give up Brother. 👍

もう 4号系のシャシーは説明書見ないでも組めるんじゃないかな と思うほど4号作りましたね。最近編集ソフト変えたんですよ。

Also did mine in a winter camo. Way I see it the IV/70 was pretty iconic for the Battle of the Bulge.
All this is great, only at the time of painting I did not like the dots

Did you use the tracks from the kit? If not, what brand did you use? Excellent work.
I didn't use the crawler in the kit because it's made of rubber. I used the extra crawler from a border model I had made before.thank you🙌

Really impressed at how good the wheels came out even though you painted them on the model. I’ll have to try that, it looks way easier than masking each individually!
