the Alchemist played this track for us at the Seattle show on his and Earl Sweatshirt’s Voir Dire tour the other night.
He didn’t say it was Yasiin, just “unreleased alchemist,” so when I first heard Yasiin’s voice, it felt like we were sharing a little secret. I left that show feeling like I was given a hug for the first time in years.
Grateful for a beautiful moment, for music, and for all the love artists (and their mothers) put into sharing their work with us

This song pops into my head pretty often since hearing him perform it in Seattle last summer.
Saw him perform this last night at MSG and epic doesnt even beginnto describe how this hit live. Immediately i could tell hes going through some stuff, i hope hes good. Erykah had a moment too where she mentioned how much she needed this tour because she doesnt have real friends. This shit was real black upliftment. Please release this, Yassin. Much love.
