Diamond gives a good interview, and I hope he's doing well today.
"I couldn't imagine being named anything else, not Bob, and not John."
I feel the same way.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
A former foster child/teen here just recently lost my adopted mom.💔 She passed right before Christmas, she was my world and a huge anchor. Not having any parents is such a deep wound, I feel incredibly loss in a way in the losses. 😢😔😢 These stories are moving, it’s certainly not easy after aging out let alone, being in the system especially without so much support and care. Not having a foundation of family.
My heart goes out to you.
I hope you have found people you can call family. If not yet, I hope you find them soon. Each relationship is different, and none will be like your foster mom. But they will bring their own gifts.
It's hard, I'm still learning now

These kids are stronger than most adults. It’s because they have to be. I wish Diamond the best.
My heart goes out to aging out youth ....that don't know. Life is not easy for them - but they keep going. I have no excuse.
It's truly the worse, and it can be very traumatizing
I lost both parents as a young adult, that was scary enough. I hate to think about what these kids go through.
Great video
