  • Lake Louise is a hamlet in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks and overlooked by a stately chateau. Hiking trails wind up to the Lake Agnes Teahouse for bird's eye views. There's a canoe dock in the summer and a skating rink on the frozen lake in the winter. The Lake Louise Ski Resort features a wildlife interpretive center at the top of a gondola.
    Moraine Lake is a snow- and glacially-fed lake in Banff National Park, 14 kilometers outside the village of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. It is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, at an elevation of approximately 1,884 meters. The lake has a surface area of 50 hectares.
