He does not apply pressure to City Council to reform bail laws and funding for more police officers. He is weak on pressuring the DA to pursue tougher sentencing. He is weak on the Governor to remove sanctuary city policies. He is weak on informing Congress and the President that immigrants are overwhelming the city with costs and major rise in crime. He should be doing all of these things and more every day. He is responsible for the safety of every New Yorker, since his election he has not done his job satisfactorily.
