I'm a leo sun that's a loner. I'm social but I don't keep friends around because I get annoyed with having to keep in contact with them. I even became a female otr truck driver so I can be alone lol. No kids because they will interfere with my need to be alone.

Great reading but one correction, with all due respect: We Leos do not demand attention. We simply get attention whether we want it or not. My mother is a Leo, my ex best-friend is a Leo, my uncle is a Leo, my ex is a Leo, basically I know A LOT of Leo's and they ALL have the same characteristic of liking to be the center of attention! They love the spot light. Halle Berry is a Leo and she portrays the same characteristic. My uncle once denied this characteristic and contradicted himself when he was reenacting a situation, he unconsciously stated, "and I love being the center of attention"..... Very prideful people! Sure you all can be go getters, the women more, the male lion lets the woman seek out the prey then they attack! Leo's can be reserved while finding a way to chime in to have relevance. It's no coincidence that when people give their perspective of Leo's, they mention such characteristic.

I dont think leo's act like anything. You said it yourself, they are the sun. How can the sun not be the sun? If they have that amount of self appreciation its for a good reason. I think Leo is the most misunderstood and the most imperfectly manifested sign, simply bc the concepts of self love and self worth are foreign to this culture. We are taught that ppl have relative value: rich ppl are more valuable than poor, educated ppl more valuable than the ignorant, white ppl are more valuable than poc, fully able-bodied ppl are more valuable than thieving w disabilities; the list could go on ad nauseum. But the highest truth is that all souls are equal, and we are called to love ourselves the way that God loves us: w total acceptance and infinite compassion for our flaws and shortcomings. Only when we realise this truth can we genuinely love and respect others. This is Leo energy: LOVE. But since we're not taught about this (unless you're lucky enough to have v conscious parents, and even then they're competing w society's overall message), instead of resting in in the HEART, where it belongs, a Leo's natural urge to love and honor themselves is pushed out onto others, and manifests as vanity, unhealthy self-obsession and attention-seeking behavior. This is actually the most positive sum up of Leo energy I've come across; usually I'm disappointed in astrolgers' understanding of it. Def now a fan of Astro Finesse!

Exactly. There has to be balance with our ego and our spiritual self. I never agreed with people who preach to get rid of the ego. If you rid your ego, you wouldn't be here. The ego is what is made manifest. We're meant to learn lessons in physical reality with the ego and find balance and wisdom. It's not wrong to stand up for what's right, self love is important and the ego gives you the power to make information and energy manifest into reality. How does someone preach to rid yourself of the ego and then preach about manifestation? It doesn't make sense. 🤷🏻♀️

I am not a Leo myself, but my 31 year old daughter is. She is actually the one that introduced me to astrology, life path numbers and so on. People spend years working on their own level of self esteems and self confidence. Leo is born with this subconsciously it’s a gift why change it. Why would a Leo person who innately has all this confidence and believes they are the sun, ever need validation or a “stage”. Leo’s are the stage, a Leo brings the stage where ever they go. The presence brings attention. It’s not about minding attention, we just get it. The lion doesn’t “feel” entitled to eat first. That’s just the way it works. Animals act as nature intended. August leo - Astrology is so trippy to me as a kid i would literally run around saying "BASK IN THE GLORY OF THE SUN!!" and I lovee the summer time, dancing, being happy :) Leos bring the life, its like blood just how the heart pumps the blood which carries the chemicals we need to live the sun carries the protons the energy we need to live... so to be the people that harness the energy of the sun and can push forward love, energy, and power thats wonderful! And think about attention. If you move a plant away from the sun it will grow back towards it the sun commands attention, the suns presence fills a room even through the smallest of windows, its not about attention its about the flow of energy when axons in the brain fire off electrons its a one way flow just how many of the important processes in biology and physics only flow one way so to be the source of the flow to feel connection we would need a receptor. August Leo and I’ve always been told that I need to have confidence and step into the limelight more 😂 I’ve learned to project a more confident and extroverted energy at work and to take a leadership position if no one steps up, but I wouldn’t say it comes naturally to me. I’ve been so out of touch with my Leo energy since 4th grade (I have a Leo stellium ffs) because I feel so bad for wanting attention and not really thinking about others like I should. Now I hate attention (it’s legit scary for me) because I haven’t gotten it for so long.
The only time I feel like I’m the shit is when I dress up in some of my nicest outfits and just stare at myself or dance while looking at myself in the mirror. I’m scared to wear those outfits at school though because I don’t want the attention. I wish I had the courage to just do it but I really don’t and I don’t know what’s wrong because I used to wear crazy outfits to school all the time.
Another thing is that I don’t think Leo people are just born shining. I personally think they are here to learn how to shine.

I had to read the comments on this one.. I’ve always had a hard time with Leo sun. Attention is a really complicated thing for me, and I hold myself to an extremely high standard for fear of being hypocritical or basic. Arrogance bugs me (might be the libra rising). My life is fueled by my love and desiring greatness for all people I come across. I don’t like attention unless I am offering something in return.. I’m an INFP if that helps give context too.
Leos vary significantly for sure. FAR extremes. I don’t usually resonate with other Leos.. I think everyone kind of rolls their eyes and judges them harsher than other signs.
I would love to hear different perspectives converse with each other on it… leos can seem hella overrated until they actually walk in their purpose (Nipsey is such a good example, and KRS-one)
If Leo is obsessed with ego, they are the worst and are definitely are what you said they are. But when they are committed to service, spirit, healing, and love… they encourage and uplift everyone and everything they touch. They run their own marathon and they’re their only true judge.

Thank you for this! We are so misunderstood. A lot of people hate us for no reason and it does hurt. We do care. We just don't conform for others approval and we try to focus on positivity. We just find people who accept us for who we are. We protect our loved ones no matter what and will stand up for them if we feel they've been wronged.

I’m a Leo girl (obviously) I’m about to explain my whole personality. I’ll agree with that I’m confident ( I consider myself quite pretty) and I love when people tell me I’m cute. I have this thing where I if I don’t get a guys attention I kinda go out of my way to seem attractive and once I get there attention when I do I’ll just be uninterested. I realized i usually am kinda attracted by guys who show they like me for example, if I catch u constantly staring at me I think it’s cute. If I make u shy and awkward, I think it’s cute but after a while of getting to know you if u don’t show u have confidence and intelligence and hard working I’ll be uninterested and ghost you.. I am more of a personality person then looks, like I said if u show that ur interested in me, that’s all I care about (and the way u think) I am socially antisocial which means, it’s very easy for me to make friends and grab peoples attention (I’m guessing bc of the energy I give off) but keeping the relationship and staying in touch is horrible. So I have a lot of ppl I know but atm I have 0 close friends and I don’t care bc me is all I need 🤷🏽♀️ ( oh and I chase NO ONE periodt) The thing I constantly think about like everyday besides my crush is how to be the BEST me I can be and I keep this high image of myself in my head I’m trying to reach By working making that bread and staying fit and trying to keep my mind humble. I HATE when people tell me what to do or w I could be doing better, I’m already hard on myself and confident in what I do so I feel like I know w I’m doing and don’t need no ones help, I also HATE asking for help, which why i haven’t even applied for student loans and am working to buy my own car with my own money. “no help from no one ever” is a constant reminder in my head for some reason. I can easily remember or explain details of a face which helps me a lot with my portraits. and somehow all these things had made me very aware of myself and therefore I constantly worry about what other people think about me and if they aren’t happy with me I go out of my way to show them I’m a friend not a foe and disappear.

I am an August Leo but I don’t crave attention like other Leo’s.., I have a few Leo friend & yes I see what your saying, they DO act like that, but I’m nothing like that...actually people drain me so everyone I’m around has an expiration time & I feel I have to go be in my own energy alone to recharge. Outside my job that is...Maybe as I get older I may end up like the Leo’s u describe but I’m already 40 so idk if that will ever happen for me. August Leo here and I totally relate to the work personality vs my actual personality. At my job it’s beneficial for me to channel a more extroverted energy and sometimes take the initiative. I need space and time alone to recharge at home afterwards though. Definitely an introvert.

My job had a work meeting after hours on my day off. I showed up in what I considered casual (dress and light makeup) and everyone was in jeans and hoodies. I was new so had no idea that when they said we could dress casually they meant that casually 😂 Contrary to what people expect from Leos I was actually slightly embarrassed by how much I stood out.

Hi I have been following all your other vids and loved them, thank you for the work you do. I have leo Sun, Moon and Venus placements and have to disagree with most of this vid. For me.... Had had to learn to love my ego and self I was allways too scared to stand in my full power because of all the negative stigmas like these towards the leo energy. I have spent most of the last 5 years single and in solitude. Maybe it might b wise to also mention the higher vibe leo points? Ex If the sun dont shine we are going to have a prob. Too me...
