💯 agree with Nova Dent product for night guards. I've been wearing one for 30+ years and hands down that product is the best cleaner. Won't damage your guard, no taste and relatively not expensive for the something that actually works. Thx for the running shoe tip, always looking for a good shoe!

I've never read anything from Elin Hilderbrand that I didn't love! I have read The Identicals, but it was many books ago! But I know I didn't hate it! Keep going!
I did read Hotel Nantucket and liked that one MUCH better!

Yes, some of her products are my absolute favorite. Have you tried her serum bronze? I just bought it.
Yup‼️ used it years ago, tried all the foundations the YTers say are Holy Grail…nope, hate the goopy mask, no matter how sheer. Now just use tinted serum SPF, then whatever LG I feel for what I’m doing….and soooo much more comfortable and easier to remove‼️❤

Always good to hear your good and not so good purchases...what you recommend and what you suggest to give a pass. I will check out Laura Geller. I have some of her products but haven't tried the lip liners and balms. I strongly recommend Opi Nail Envy Original for your nails. They have changed my nails into strong, longer, healthier nails. They make my nails look like I have a French manicure. Be sure to use the Original...they have some in colors but they don't work quite as good. I will also have to try those shoes you recommended. Thanks!!

The Idententical wasn’t one of my favorite books of hers but she has several that are really good. The perfect couple is great and it is now a mini series on Netflix.
Oh, I may have to read that one soon. I haven't watched the show on Netflix.

I didn't like that Elin Hiderbrand book either. Unlike you, though, I don't have a hatd time not finishing a book I'm not enjoying. Life is too short to read boring books, especially wjen there are so many good ones waiting to be read! I give a book 100 pages to lure me in. If I'm not into it by then, I move on to another one.
I kept thinking it might get better. I finished yesterday and NOPE...no redeeming value! Oh well! Maybe I should try the 100 page test!!!

I really love Laura Geller Jelly Balms, they are so nice ! Yes they have to be reapplied during the day, but that doesn’t bother me at all.
They are quickly becoming my go-to choices!

Nike doesn’t make a shoe wide enough for my feet. Their “wides” are regular in every other brand. Hoka Cliftons and New Balance are the only ones that are wide enough shoes for my feet unfortunately

Are the Geller lip balms opaque in coverage? Im looking for pigmented balms that have a slight sheerness to it, i guess a translucence with decent pigment. The reason I ask is my lips have natural darker pigment perimeter and opaque lipsticks look ashy on my lips. Im low maintenance and dont want to deal with lip liners . My natural dark pigment acts a lipliner thru sheer lipsticks.
They are definitely pigmented with a bit of sheerness to them. I wouldn't call them translucent though.
@midlifemom LA Girl has some newer tinted lip balms that I really like. There’s a shade called Black Cherry and it has good pigment. They are only $6 (got mine at Ulta). They have a bit of a fruity smell, but not too overpowering. It is similar to Clinique black honey, but I think it looks better on me. I like Burt’s bees red dahlia tinted lip balm too and that’s even cheaper. Haven’t tried the Laura Geller ones.

Hi Bobbi, please don’t ever think that your videos are too long! Always enjoy the longer ones as in shorter ones, seems like they are I. Such a hurry and it ruins the video/ content. I too have ridges in some of my nails. I for sure will order the Olive and June Ridge filler. And my toe nails are just getting weird as I age. 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️. I have the Covergirl Cleantopia Mascara, but for me it’s such a Wet Formula. I didn’t realize that it was waterproof, maybe mine is not! But will be giving it another try today. At first I too loved the Zero Cleansing Balm, but then my Very Sensitive eyes started burning, so won’t repurchase, and I’m not a Garnier fan. Great Yahoos and Nays.
The regular may need to dry down a bit before you actually like it. I didn't find the waterproof needed that. What cleansing balm works for you?
@@MindfulMidlife I’ve been taking a break from cleansing balms and Only using BioDerma Micellar Water for dry, dehydrated skin and loving it.

I enjoy Elin Hilderbrand as an author, so I would say keep reading. I have a question about the Nike tennis shoes - I have a wide foot, so how do these shoes run - on the narrow side or wide, how roomy is the toe box - I get so nervous ordering things like this that I haven't tried on first.

I always enjoy books by Lisa Jewell. I'm about 100 pages into this one and I'm glad to hear that you liked it. It makes me want to finish it faster. I'm also going to check out your other channel. I enjoy riding my bike but haven't been doing it much lately even though I live a block away from a bike path that runs along Lake Pontchartrain. It's finally starting to cool down here so it's time to get outside.

Bobbie, try oiling your nails & skin around your nails. Get some organic jojoba oil. Nothing fancy. Put 1 drop on each hand & massage into the nails & proximal nail fold (skin around the nails). All it takes is 1 drop per hand. Use it morning & night, for sure. Optimal use is also after exposure to water. You'll be amazed at how your nails react.
The ridge filler looks awesome
I use Nail Tek for nail ridges sold at Sally's Beauty Supply and on Amazon. It worked really well. Glad to learn about yours.
I wear mouth guard too, I soaked it on hydrogen peroxide during the day😊
Ugh the jelly thing was terrible
Here in the UK Garnier has always had a big range of skincare (as well as hair products). I suppose as a French based brand the skincare tends to be more European based.
I use to have weak, thin nails until I started taking collagen. Now are strong ones. Take 10g a day.

At your recommendation, to replace BK Beauty’s warm spice lip liner, I bought Laura Geller’s lip crayon by accident in Hazelnut. Obviously bought the wrong product bc it is not a good replacement for warm spice. However, MAC’s spice lip liner is a good replacement for warm spice! One thing about the lip crayon though - it is very long lasting.

I love Laura Gellar’s lipsticks! I ordered her powder blush, which I haven’t had for years, & discovered that I can’t wear it any more, my skin is too dry so I have to switch to cream. But I definitely recommend her products

Love Lisa Jewell....first discovered her books last year and could not put it down. The Family Upstairs and then the follow up The Family Remains....both fantastic. I've just ordered clean it Zero to try. Love Elemis cleansing balm but it's more than twice the price!

I love your videos. YOu are so much fun. You always make me feel better. I tried to read the Identicals and I couldn't get into it. I have decided life is too short (at my age) to read I book I am not enjoying. I have really bad arthritis in my hands as well and have trouble using certain creams and hair products. I hate wearing polish because it accents how misshapen my fingers are but I may try the one you used.
I feel the same way about my misshapen fingers, but when my polish is neutral I do think they look better.
Try a 4 way buffer for your nails. By the time you get to the smooth side you will not have any ridges left! Works every time.
Sadly, my nails are too thin to buff!
