This is so true🥶 about a month ago my RR as been 1:2-5 most or breaken at times risking 2% but since I worked on my entry getting it from a 1min TF I barely risk up to 2% catching 1:3-8 on a consistent level and up to 14 rarely... By the way, I trade Gold and this is on a prop about to receive my 3rd payout started trading last year November... All this kinda podcast had helped me so far🤲 Thank you guys for the making this🙏

True. Nice entry makes holding longer to probable profit target easier. Knowing that the risk is smaller and able to move breakeven or trail properly. ❤
My entries have improved so much over the past year My exits still need some work On my good trades I get out with money so I’m happy a bit more of a hold I could have bigger Green Day’s
You don’t make money when you enter a trade, you make money when you close a trade.. I’m not saying you don’t need good entry points, but you can be late, get slipped etc and still make money.. but if you don’t have the right targets or right trade management you won’t make money, you get scared, you close the trades at BE or if you close coz you go into a slight drawdown or the opposite you try make every trade a home run and price comes back to take you out out a loss coz you get too greedy
I would disagree here, because if that’s the case, then everyone will try and catch the top resulting in death by a thousand paper cuts. The solution here is Trend confirmation. Waiting for that confirmation on a reversal and price will begin to respect the new trend’s higher highs or lower lows, in which you can place a stop at. Higher odds and still managing risk
Entry is not everything 😂, whats more important is getting better at telling where the market is more likely to react from and more importantly where its more likely to go, spend more time on BIAS and you can have the best or sloppiest entry and still make money , but if u don't have narrative and bias u can have the best entry and be selling a buy day , and get recked because focusing on entry alone is just pattern trading
