Forgotten Naruto characters who were supposed to be there: Kurenai, Anko, Zetsu, Shizune and Sasori (before revealing himself)
Kurenai, Anko, Zetsu and Shizune did jackshit in the series. C'mon now. The ps2 version of those characters were pretty match fantasy moveset.
Kurenai was only shown to fight in one episode, Anko’s abilities were only shown in filler episodes, Zetsu only uses himself to make clones that can easily be destroyed, and Shizune only heals people in combat.
So what if they didn't do much stuff in the series? There are characters like Karin, Rin, Iruka, Kushina etc who didn't do much stuff either and still are in this game.

Best character select theme will always be Storm 2's
You've got to reset the WHOLE road to boruto story mode if you've lost the characters even tho you completed the story. This happened to all PS4 players.

So I just finished all the Story Missions in Boruto’s Tale but when I go to free battle none of the characters are unlocked any help?
So I replayed the missions that awarded characters and then went to the free roam and saved and unlocked them hopefully this helps.

Because it's extra outside of the original. The last DLC came over 2 years ago. This is pretty much a gift for the game doing so well. A gift that we have to pay for but good to see the game get more content.

I don't mind any filler nor movie character. Raiga, Guren, Haido, Temujin, Menma, Hiruko and Toneri, I personally would playing as them. At least they are different character, way better than 3 to 5 Naruto, Sasuke and Boruto. Is just the problem is, beside Dragon Ball, the other anime seem rarely want to use their movie, filler or ova character in video game.

No, the deluxe edition comes with everything except for the recent DLC pack "Next Generations". Have to get that separate.
