- Anna Wintour, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue and Artistic Director at Condé Nast, joins Tina Brown, founder and CEO of Tina Brown Live Media/Women in the World, for a revealing conversation on fashion, motherhood, and politics.
I LOVE how Anna didnt reveal anything more personal that Diana may have said at that lunch. She focused on her personal style and legacy. Very classy, Ms. Wintour.

For a high school drop out, She has accomplished a lot more than those who have MBAs. . . She is MORE than the Devil Wears Prada. Admire her more for this interview
NCT illichi The success of Vogue and the Met can’t be bought. She worked to achieve the level she’s at. She may have had opportunity, but she took that and worked to build Vogue to what it is today.
Ha! For a high school dropout in the 60’s. Times have changed. Not everyone has the luxury to drop out of school and make it. Anna had Teo things most don’t.
Anna’s father was a wealthy and influential British newspaper editor. Do you think without him she would have likely got the start and made the initial connections to do what her father had decided for her - work at vogue. Her surname alone not only opened doors, but opened wallets. People get MBA’s because they don’t have a notorious surname or a powerful daddy in the industry like hers.
If anything her white privileged, upper class background, brutal work ethic and ruthlessness was what kept her in the job she’s doing. And that’s equally admirable and horrific. She would never get away with it starting out today.
Her mother - an American and daughter to a celebrated Harvard law school professor - was very much attracted to humanitarian causes and philanthropy, which is where Anna gets her charitable side. I feel that if anything Anna wants to be really remembered for it is that. Everything else is surface. What she did with the Met and NY Costume institute, namely the Anna Wintour Costume Centre. And heading the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. These will - in her eyes - be her legacy, not the caricature she is known as. Fashion fades and is easily replaceable. She know that. Charity work is remembered and celebrated and her name will be cemented in that.
I love her, no matter how she was taunted by others I still love her.. She's my role model to be a great leader and be far more greater what ever you are doing.
did you notice the SHADE from Tina to Anna about her "uniform"? it was perfect....and then Anna hit right back.
...and it works very well... for you.
And what about the suble 'in-time' surgery comment ? 😂
Her politics are naïve and the point of view she represents are over. She basically said it herself at the end when she mentioned ability over identity but what she doesn’t realize is America is already there and dems are about to be obliterated fantastically. She had an amazing run though....
@@sheLovesG "Dems?" What you smoking? Share!
This was such interesting interview. She has accomplished so much in her lifetime and I think Anna is one of the most inspirational women in the world.
Why allegedly, would the decent discerning public consent, to the idol worship, of narcissistic, hellyweird satanick masonick , Entertainment Industry created, multimillionaire, obvious, gender inverted biological male, deceiver sellout, who, for decades, have been deliberately, mocking and fooling the good public, by masquerading as a female and laughably, self proclaiming themselves to be the so called, voice of authority and the gatekeeper who dictates to real biologically-born women, that possess real wombs, what is deemed to be fashionable and artistic, allegedly?
Terrific interview. For more Anna : 'The September Issue' is worth hunting down, the film shows Anna at work, pulling the magazine together, plus the wonderful Grace Coddington, Andre Leon Talley, the late great Karl Lagerfeld, Sienna Miller and so much more. 💗 JT x
What a great real interview ! Anna was so much more forthright with her personal life. Thank you for this content.

Like her or not Ana is a professional, sharp and right to the point
amazing discussion between 2 titans of magazine and media culture
So how much things have changed in a year for Ms. Wintour. Her son is a physician who suffered through COVID and is back to work. No doubt she has been impacted by this, all of us have. Our values, understanding the importance of everyone we work with, understanding that we are all one family and those "under" us actually hold us up and hold up the whole system. God is trying to tell us something, love one another as I have loved you.
Amazing Anna! Inspiration 100%

Anna , Tina and Liz .. the best trio.
Although people want to present different picture about Anna’s personality on the opposite she is lovely, talkative, sensitive, simply just an ordinary girl. She is very professional so at work se must be strict and down to business
Tina looks alarmingly like Hillary Clinton here. It's quite disturbing.
Lovely interview! I laughed very much.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ one of the greatest & truest leaders of the century
Wow! Love her so much!
I LOVE Anna Wintour
Loved this. But i do wish the woman would remove the sunglasses.
Love the way she speaks
A worker, deeply. 🇬🇧🇺🇲
I didn’t like Tina Brown’s interviewing style, and for goodness sake, if you ask a question please be polite enough to listen to the answer without speaking over the interviewee.
Anna Wintour you have such good taste. You are Vogue. Could you do 73 questions with Hailee Steinfeld? She is a great actress and singer and has wisdom beyond her years. Thank you.
Mark
Anna i read your book ❤🎉it was great 👍 👌 keep up the good work 👏 👍 😀 👌 and keep on going
she is so charming, loved how they closed it too
“Did she just dunk that?”
“Biiiiitch!!!!!!!!”
Love it!
And love you! You look padrisimo!
Awesome lady...
Love you Anna 😘 #myrolemodel😊
As a Japanese I think Vogue Japan is far more interesting than US. However, I do LOVE her wig. I think that bob wig is perfection !
Thats her real hair
@@jamesgalante7967 BS
That’s her real hair, it’s been that way since she was in grade school
benjamin jackson that doesn’t mean she doesn’t wear a wig now, she’s 70. It’s definitely a wig now.
@Fly by night she's 70 y.o...so yes its a wig.
The hairstyle ensures perpetual coverage of facelift scars - possibly ?
She brings to mind the main character in the movie "the Eyes without a face." (In this case, it is "the Sunglasses.")
Most of u have been running so much u have forgotten even what friendship means ❤❤😂😂
Me encanta tu estilo, Anna Wintour.
LOVE IT . JUST CHANGE THE WIG ALL GOOD
Hmmmm......was wondering about the too perfect coif on Anna, also. Get rid of the shades, too. Anna, you're full of facial lines and wrinkles and that's OK!! No need to hide your ageing skin.
fabulous.
that thumbnail was really disrespectful
Damn she's really more than the EIC of Vogue. 💅
That rap intro tho. Lit.
GREAT interview between two accomplished people, which makes for a refreshing change! (Some interviews with Anna Wintour elsewhere have resorted to the usual hackneyed questions and have even been downright insulting.)

She got the Phil Spector look and pose. Young Phil Spector... 😎
Smart !
I still miss Karl, such a sudden loss. Brings tears to my eyes. I often wonder who manages Choupette and still enjoy wearing items of clothing that depict both. I found it interesting to know he never had anything to do with design other than couture.
Anna..,ti vedo tropo rilasciata adesso..,stai molto bene.Sei innamorata..??🤗😂EFETO DEL AMORE CHE TI FA RINGIOVANIRE COSI.DIO TI BENEDICA E TI PROTEGGA BELLA ANNA.TANTO SUCCESSO E AMORE CON SALUTE.🤗🤗

She z magnetic
Got to meet her ounce she happened to be in the same building I was working in she stepped into the lift I was in she just started chatting to me like a normal person I like her think she gets a bad rap
Can someone tell me song played in background?
Always Anna Wintour
Dear Anna I love you and wrote to you in Instagram but a woman that sad that was my friend deleted everything. I love you amazing woman. I worked more and less like you. With 18 years I started with two shops for the young people. But after I decided to sell cloud's for ladies
My father was rich too. He's industry was of bags of many models, and other thinks of leathers. Later I started to sell to shops like C&A... and many places, be a stylish and prefer to be alone with my sun that today lives in Texas.. I worked for 40 years but today no more. You're Lady Anna Wintour is a amazing woman très chique and your voice is beautiful I am from Brazil, Copacabana Rio de Janeiro. How I would like to know you in person. I love Lady Gaga, Justin, Barbra Streisand, I have 75 years old. My name Vera Succar. .
Sad that there's no mic.

THAT-wig.
Wig..glasses... what she's hiding
So , you two women knew each other did not have/ get time to gossip over a cup of tea with a cloud of milk .... throughout !!!!!! Now you setup a conference and "Gossip" Bloody holy cow !!! Very intimidating, indeed ......... Cheers to Tea !!!
Bitch Bitch Bitch 🤭🤭🤭
Her hair is always impeccable... unlikely most British women...
Is it my imagination, but does Anna ever let Tina finish a question? And is this a bit of a Cat fight under the surface?
Her outfits are peak! Figure!!!!!!!!!
❤
Anna story
In todays world it seems that people who are very successful in their line of work (and told that they are) segue into other fields thinking they have the same level of expertise. They dole out commentary and advice with the assertiveness of someone who has spent their life in that particular area. That said I do see that more often than not "regular" people are coming to this realization and seem to be turned off by this quasi god like complex. I am a firm believer in knowing your line of work as best you can. I admire Anna for her masterful grasp of her line of work however I do feel that commentary and personal opinion outside of your area of expertise should be expressed in limited fashion (no pun intended).
So from this I gather that you have a PhD in Politics. Either that, or this is a misguided comment. Apart from "their line of work", (some) people also have something called "critical thinking", and are knowledgeable about the world around them. Also, freedom of opinion (on either aisle). The most glaring and ironic example of people being told they're successful and segueing into other fields based on that is Trump. Who has no critical thinking whatsoever. Just ego, lust for power, and a love for Kim (not the Kardashian) and Vladimir.
Is it me or does Tina Brown seem annoyed by Anna's ... squeaky weirdness? The glasses really ARE a bit much...
you bitches never watch the video, she said she just had eye surgery
She said she had just had eye surgery you damn fool!! Freak
@@icemeoutlikeelsahow many surgeries has she had? She's always wearing those glasses...lowlife
@@carloscastellani4253 Probably none of your fucking business, that many times, and she wears them all the time but has taken them off in several interviews and speeches and likely was going to do the same for this one
@@icemeoutlikeelsa I find that hard to believe
Good morning。
Elle magazine l like too。
The music in the beginning is destracting.
her eyes what oh cover them with sunglasses
The question about "uniform" was totally impolite and showed the real Tina's attitude to Anna. Such a gross!

Her hair is like helmet
This fideo is good huh
God, she is so unprepossessing for an empress of fashion. Her mousy little print dresses call to mind all those BBC series about nurses and other stalwart women surviving the blitz.
Great interview..prefer not to hear her political opinions, otherwise good.
Aimée Elisabeth Mialvic you are so smart. Nobody else is picking up on her propaganda.
Bottom up from Pitti Immagine Uomo fashion event organiser as me The first minute of the interview Amazing charm the animalier look that nobody understand as here after a little be confusing hope the output be emotionally important for the modern nerd someone that enjoy learning see you in London at Burberry also in Selfridges
Maybe I missed something. Is she Starina and back from Safari on “The Bird Cage”? She’s got the safari print, but where’s this blind woman walking stick?
So sad that Anna can't age without the sunglasses.
She said she had eye surgery the day before this interview
Does she like the movie cocaine bear?
She loves herself to much!
Sorry dont wear sunglasses please
Good grief, hide those monstrous calves, Tina Brown!!
That was a long intro
veiamos tambien hasta que se metio en politica.. dedicate a lo que sabes!!!!
Why she is always hiding her eyes?
What is she hiding? The wig covers her face and the dark glasses makes her shifty. She must be so unhappy with herself.
She said she had eye surgery the day before this interview lol
Yeah but she had connections the normal dropout doesn’t have 💩
Everybody has connections that has an online presence
Wintour should stick to fashion and steer clear of politics.
Indeed. A professional opera singer is not expected to talk about the latest cancer research, for example...
@artist one Yes, it's time she retired. She's a ageing print autocrat in a world of digital content where old-style bullies are shunned in the workplace. I'm sure Trump is a better boss than Icy Wintour.
@@RR-yh6le YES. Trump IS!
Tina Brown should be the new Editor of Vogue magazine. She seems to be more enthusiastic, while Anna Wintour sounds a little bit stiff for me.
Pablo Javier Alfaro that means you would demote Elon Musk at Tesla
@@IAmGod
Probably.
One of these days that wig is gonna fall off. I shudder to think whats under it!
Reffering to Anna's high fashion designer dresses "uniform" is an insults and disrespectful to Anna and the designers how rude. My guess the interviwer insult is made out of envy it is obvious she do not have the test or the money to wear designer dresses every single day of the year. the most she can do is to wear weitress uniform with a bad hair.
the nose
That was racist to not have Rihanna in the met gala cut scene
why doth she hide behind the sunglasses and hair for so long??
she's not hiding, this is her iconic look
and you obviously didn't watch, she said she had just had eye surgery
@@icemeoutlikeelsa so what have eye surgery for 20 years, she almost never takes them off
@@jonnyfendi2003 nope she usually doesn't but she has for certain interviews like her speech and Q&A at Oxford and this was probably another one she would have taken them off for
Such an obvious wig. Also she's always high as a kite, thus the sunglasses.
Cs Cs it’s not a wig if you look at other photos
It’s not a wig, there are pictures out there of her hair blowing in the wind and you can see that it’s real, also with the comment abt her being high...🤣🤣 very very unlikely
I have never or will ever buy a copy of Vogue, never even looked at one and I was Democrat, it's just a magazine for rich b....chs !!!!
There are also much better magazines for women out there
I mean it is a fashion magazine, what do you want on their pages? Some advice on how to save money?
What does being a Democrat have to do with fashion?
