    If the balancing point in a meter-bridge from the left is 60 cm, compare the resistances in the left and right gaps of meter-bridge.

    Potentiometer lo key ne remove chesthe(I mean key is closed ante switch off kadha sir)... Alane meter bridge lo high resistance lo key remove chesthe switch off kaadha sir?... please clarify my doubt sir...

    Connections anni correct ga unna galvanometer lo deflection raavatledu. Corrections cheppandi sir. And unknown resistance wire edi teesukovali. Nichrome or manganine?

      Galvanometer లో deflection one side కూడా రాలేదంటే current circuit లో flow కావడం లేదు. So remove all connecting wires. Wires connect చేసేటప్పుడు screws మధ్య copper wire ఉండేటట్టు చూసుకోవాలి. Insulating material ఉండకూడదు. Unknown resistance wire మీ college వాళ్ళు ఏది ఇస్తే అది ఉపయోగించాలి. Electricity experiments లో ముఖ్యంగా గుర్తుంచుకోవలసిన విషయం circuit connect చేసేది వస్తే చాలు. Readings గురించి ఆలోచించనవసరం లేదు. Exam లో మీరు correct గా connect చేసినా readings రాకుంటే examiner help చేస్తారు. So don't worry.

      Sir nenu physics lecturer నీ meter bridge connections అన్ని కరెక్ట్ గా ఇచ్చాను deflection one side వస్తోంది both sides రావటం లేదు దీనికి solution చెప్పండీ అంటే ఏ విధంగా చేస్తే one side deflection నీ correct చెయ్యొచ్చు.

    First We are including HR bcoz galvanometer is sensitive right! then why you are inserting key to short HR another time?

      Sir! We know that in series combination R (effective) in series = R1+R2
      first we find the value of R1using the formula You have given and by this can't we find R2 by R2 = RS-R1?? with out applying that big formula?

      Tangent galvanometer is very sensitive that means it's order up-to 10 power-9...
      If high current pass through it ... may damage the galvanometer...
      In order to avoid this problem....we use high resistance

      if you place the key in high resistance H.R is shorted . if you remove the key H.R INCLUDES IN THE CIRCUIT OK...

      Hello srinivas. Actually Galvanometer is very sensitive. If maximum current is passing through the Galvanometer, it damages. So to protect Galvanometer we use high resistance.
