I’d personally love to see, someone repaint, this finger with the. Prehistoric Kingdom male T.batter color schem.
That is a well fed Tarbosaurus.
finally someone who understands it here
The Tarbosaurus figure from PSNO is way to chubby, head is too small and reminds me of a Mosasarus like shape.
Besides the nice detailing and paintjob and teeth im not too fond of this figure.
Oh no we did it again lol
Hahaha I just saw yours like 2 minutes ago. We're back at it!
For us Viewers, it is perfect :D
@@andysdinosaurreviews after I finished filming I’m like hmm Andy hasn’t released a review today. Ah he’s probably working on the yutyrannus lol.
It’s really funny how I know all of you guys here and on the DTF
FINALLY! Tarbosaurus gets some love
I’m still just super excited we got a Tarbosaurus figure tbh, I feel like that dinosaur deserves more love especially since it’s basically just a cooler T.Rex but whatever.
How is it cooler? I like both but I'd like to know your point of view.
I love both Tarbo does deserve more attention
@@mikkelangelokers9965 Tarbosaurus shares a lot of similarities to T. rex but has several unique features, most noticeably being it’s ability to lock its jaws like a pitbull as well as having a harder proportional head and even smaller arms. Tarbosaurus maybe slightly smaller than T. rex but the size of its skull rivals even the largest rex.
Tarbosaurus also shares its ecosystem with some generally weird dinosaurs, coexisting with a smaller tyrannosaur (something T. rex didn’t and raises the question about their relationship especially since Tarbosaurus was quite agile and slight during its juvenile stage), the oddball deinocheirus and the Spinosaurus of the hadrosaurs, shangtungosaurus. It’s generally just a weirder rex in an ecosystem of oddities and I kinda love that about it
Waited so eagerly for your review Mr.Andy.... and damn, here you are with this amazingly beautiful figure and wonderfully detailed review. This 20-minute worth so much
Thank you so much my friend! I greatly appreciate the kind words and you watching!
Always with you
Just received mine yesterday...love it..
Great video on this amazing Tyrannosaur figure by PNSO.
Also hope your day is going great.
Well. Its not exactly a Tyrannosaur. Its a Tarbosaur, Tyrannosaurs' asian 'nephew' if you will. So not a tyrannosaur but it IS a Tyrannosaurid. No biggie, Just to prevent further confusion. Some people can really get triggered by that stiff lmao
@@Nasuto1702 but its still a tyrannosaur and the closest to a tyrannosaur lol
Awesome Intro! Well done.
Tarbosaurus now, Deinocheirus later.
i hope so
I at first thought the collectA was better, but this- looks exceptional
It kinda reminds me of the collecta t rex with prey
Wait, collecta made a tarbosaurus?
@@ryaquaza3offical i do t think so
Yes, it was from there early procon days. It was ok, but this absolutely destroys it
A must have figure!
Man this guy is so thick!! I Name this guy Jabbasaurus Huttei.
INCREDIBLE!
Got this and the Yutyrannus together and man is it beautiful just as good as Wilson if not slightly better
Tarbo meets T... how neat is that shot!
Try Aliexpress
Where do you get the PNSO dinos so quickly ? Could you let me know if your source sells to India?
Genghis Khan(Or Chinggis Khan)
At some point Tarbosaurus was classified as Jenghizkhan Battar, after the Mongol dude who conquered lots of stuff. Tarbosaurus is really interesting, it’s like a brother species of Tyrannosaurus and Zhuchengtyrannus. One fact I alway remember about it is that it has the smallest hands proportionally of the tyrannosaurids, while daspletosaurus had the largest proportionally
I love it
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😉
16:00, it's good in scale next to the Parasaurolophus.
Nah the para isn’t that big, but Charonosahrus is
Generally I love Andy's reviews, although I find him a little too enthusiastic about some models, and uses the word "pops" WAY too much. That said, I believe he loves dinosaurs as much as I do. I have a few PNSO figures, and will have more, if my budget allows!
Is this 1 35th scale
what do you think about the bulk of the torso? do you think a tarbosaurus could be that bulky?
Personally, I definitely think so.
@@andysdinosaurreviews mine just arrived and i have to say this bulk is amazingly natural, it's hard for someone who dont have it to understand just by pictures and videos but it definitely is awesone in hand
No, large theropod carnivores were mostly hungry and on the constant move for herbivors which surely couldnt keep them so chubby , this one is maybe a zoo kept Tarbosaurus 😂
If I were to get any pnso figure it is this
That tarbo be extra thick
Big Daddy Tarbo
Damn he's Chucky!!!
I like 'em big, I like 'em chunky
Why is the top image quality 360?
I absolutely adore PNSO, but this model is surprisingly inconsistent with the paleontological data.
Tarbo, compared to T-Rex, was more glacile and - most important - didn't have binocular vision.
all carnivores have binocular vision...its just not as good as on tyrannosaurus
and tarbosaurus is not really that skinny if you check some skeletals its only a tiny bit less chunky than trex plus considering soft tissue like muscles and fat i think its a plausible tarbosaurus that is just lucky and got some good meals recently
Puts all bodybuilders to shsme...
Seems a little too plain to me though it’s a bit better when you take a close up look
Gorgeous figure. Only flaw is that that toes are too short, unless tarbosaurus actually had short toes.
short?
Theres much more flaws than just too short feet.
Oh dang he thicccccccc
Unpopular Opinion: I'm not a huge fan of this Tarbosaurus. More specifically the bulk, T.rex is really the only Tyrannosaurid to have been this bulky and seeing it on an apparently 10-11 m. and 5 ton Tyrannosaur is kinda weird. encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRv0YofnsGuvnXN1OexXZ6ISSy_sqUO0NUzpQ&usqp=CAU
But I'm just glad we have another Tarbosaurus figure cuz we need more Tarbos on the market. So it's still a win for us collectors, but the figure is just not for me personally.
Thinking of skipping this one. He's a little too chunky and I also feel the snout sculpt is too long/narrow. I just saw their TORVOsaurus model though.. HOLY #%@*! That figure is absolutely stunning!
as an animal that was close to t rex size but needed to hunt bigger prey, spend time running more, this bulk only makes sense...its hard to understand from the review you need to actually handle it to understand it but this bulk would be important to keep the heavy body stable and able to have quick movements enough to hunt big prey the biggest prey t rex had to hunt is edmontosaurus and its only a bit bigger tarbosaurus had also sauropods and deinocheirus and therizinosaurus that, to hunt this animal definitely needed to have quick strong movements
and of course the fat reserves and the skin wrinkling that would be above the muscle covering like in every land vertebrate
@@firegator6853 So bulk (chunk) would never indicate a speed increase on an animal of this size.. If anything, the fatter it is. The slower moving it is. Sure this figure's legs are quite muscular, but those feet?? Look like sequoia tree stumps! 😆 Making the figure appear disproportionate all around from what I can see. On top of having a cauldron, pot belly. I've never seen/heard any claims that Tarbosaurus was a significant margin quicker on its feet than Tyrannosaurus.. Tarbosaurus is the closest known relative to Tyrannosaurus in accordance to size and structure. Smaller relatives such as Daspletosaurus, Albertosaurus and Gorgosaurus are all estimated to have run upwards of 25mph. Possibly 30. I have never seen such a claim for Tarbosaurus. T-Rex's top speed was roughly half that at most. So the evolutionary trade off for Tarbosaurus would be speed/agility for more power/mass. He couldn't have his cake and eat it too. Furthermore, I own a 2019 PNSO Wilson T-Rex. Therefore because that figure is a great deal skinnier than the newer, chunky Wilson figure. Chuanzi would look odd next to him amongst my collection. Plus how would any sauropod ever be swifter than an Edmontasaurus ?
@@renna4216 i mean dont judge by fat...hippos have tiny stubby legs and are fat yet for their size they sprint really fast and two legs also give an adaptation for spending less energy while running so a giant theropod could catch the prey via stamina more than speed now imagine this thing with these athletic legs...well sure its heavier than hippo so it would probably not be faster but for animals of it's own weight class in which also belong the big animals of nemegt formation it would be fast
anyway whatever the case my point is that i dont find it weird for such big animal to have so much bulk especially adding on the fat and skin above the already buff muscles and as you said its not that different from t rex in body build other than trex being wider than tarbosaurus
@@firegator6853 i know I’m late to this, just looking at old reviews though I don’t agree that with what you said, we found many specimens of tarbosaurus Bataar and none of them are this bulky, also tarbosaurus wasn’t built like T.rex, tyrannosaurus was able to hunt big prey because of its anatomy, T.rex had a bite force of 35,000 newtons and a bulky head while tarbosaurus didn’t have as much of a strong bite force. And not to mention that tarbosaurus’s skull is super narrow. Tarbosaurus mainly ate animals such as gallimimus and juvenile saurolophus. Though this model could be better, I still really love it
@@paleostories_7839 the reason why the specimens are not this bulky is because they are pure bone, as a living animal it also has muscles, fat that changes in amount depending on the life the animal had and skin on top of them
And the skull of tarbosaurus does seem to be narrow like this at least in the skeletal I find, only one has more boxed shaped and its smaller than those with longer snout so its possibly ontogenetic feature
And I doubt that it was not able to hunt big animals because the size seems like a waste if it's used to only eat babies and small ones, of course like every carnivore it would go for the easiest meal but this also counts old weak individuals or sick adults or even depending on what they are doing for example if the prey is sleeping
Turtle,.
This is a gorgeous figure and I'm happy to have purchased it, I dare say that the paint job on mine is even better than the one featured in this video, especially on the teeth. However I will just refer to this as a T. rex as it is by far the most closely resembling a rex. Tarbosaurus as Wikipedia will tell you lacked binocular vision due to the narrow base of the head, resulting eyes that looked mostly sideways. Binocular vision was something that only really happened in T. rex as far as theropods go. The forelimb length however is accurate, as they are too small to be that of a Tyrannosaurus and Tarbosaurus had particularly tiny arms. Maybe this can be a hybrid species. However, whether its a Tyrannosaurus or a Tarbosaurus, it's still a very impressive sculpture of an unmistakably Tyrannosauroid animal and my newest all-time favorite from PNSO.
it didnt lack the binocular vision why people keep saying this? it just was in less degree than trex
E
15:10, jeez, it's shorter than the Rex!
yea tarbosaurus is smaller than trex
That Tabo should do more exercise... He's overweight.
not too much fat to be honest also you can clearly see the buff muscles
Pregnant with 20 eggs?
🤔🐘🤔🐘🤔🐘🤔
its the fattest tarbosaurus i seen
How dare u
Shame on you
He thicc
pregnant with 20 eggs or more hahaha
