Incidentally the mayor died in March 2022. His obituary did not mention cause of death and also omitted any mention of being a mayor. (It’s the right guy based on the picture in the obit matching the images of the mayor in the video).
This is exactly what we saw in Carpentersville, Il; a Village President running roughshod over the elected board... It is my understanding that, under the corporate village system, only the board as a GROUP can direct operations. No one member has as much authority as this mayor is claiming.
