yea but don't just go to queenstown tbh - its cool but very touristy. the rest of the south island is less touristy, arguably prettier and more of a representation of aotearoa. Or the east and very north of the North Island is also amazing due to the large presence of Māori culture.

The Wakasa kids are so adorable, but not only do you have to be beautiful, smart, funny and charming to date them, you also have to be an Olympic quality athlete and daredevil 😂😂😂😂. It’s a lot 😂💕

The Wakasas is the only family where the parent plans such wild outings! 😂 the DWE gene is strong. But being afraid of something and doing it anyway is so relatable because I’m not fearless 😂
Also, try to send the airline a note about the person who helped you! Even without her name, you can describe her and give the date and what happened. That can be helpful for their job.

We appreciate you putting the part in when you are upset and crying and being completely honest that way everybody is aware and what it's like to travel and the ups and downs that traveling with the airlines can do to us. Good to see Kelly again and his family really fun video to watch
i know airlines can sometimes put passengers on standby due to overselling seats on the plane, maybe the bag check argument from the front desk was an excuse to say that the flight was too full 😭 but i’m glad the kind lady helped you out and that you got to enjoy beautiful NZ ❤️

Your laughter and storytelling takes some of the pain away. I’ve had horrible flight and travel stories too - got kicked off a flight because of my citizenship (they decided to give my spot on an overbooked flight to someone who was more wealthy and white-passing than me). It’s never a fun time.

The rollercoaster of emotions the whole video is insane!
They might have thought you were "skip lagging" or "hidden-city ticketing." Some people book flights with layovers so they can purposefully arrive at the layover stop and not take their connecting flight, because it can be cheaper to do that for certain destinations. Since you didn't check in your bag they probably thought you were bouncing out of there (which is stupid, you still ended up checking in for the flight!)
That’s exactly what happened. And it’s actually against their rules and conditions.

oh my goodness I can't believe you guys came to New Zealand!!! I love that you guys had the best time here. Something that I just wanna throw in is that if you want a summer, beachie holiday in New Zealand it's the best in the North Island only 'cause it's still relatively cold in the South Island and there's A LOT of beaches up here. I feel like the South Island is a great winter holiday spot.
