I spent way too long trying to set my AirPods up to my iPod Touch before watching this video. Thanks for the how-to. The only thing I would add is that on iPod Touch's that no longer get software updates, you will get a prompt that asks if you want to look for a software update OR "Continue setup with limited functionality". I went the limited functionality route and setup finished, AirPods are now connected. Thanks again!

Awesome Bro!!! It worked for me now. I just read in the Apple discussion forum before seeing this video that ipod touch can't be connected with iOS version below 10. But it actually works.

I had an Ipod touch 3rd generation connected to airpods pro but no audio..How can I fix it?
Joel Natividad Bro, Make sure both AirPods have proper charge, also check the iPod volume, it can some times cause problem with the sound.😊
