It's nice to see a diyer being conscious of where you're cutting the foam from to reduce excess. Granted hacking away at it afterward lost that effect slightly but still nice to see.

I’m trying to follow your tutorial rn with some olive green stretch velvet, and I laid it out just as you did, but I’m having SUCH an issue with tons of wrinkles / overlapping fabric. SOS!
