If the fiero was allowed to go into the 89 model year, it was going to have the Olds Quad 4 as the base engine and the 3.4 LQ1 dohc v6 engine. Damn shame, they would have sold like hot cakes.
Great story! I have an 85 2M6 SE that I bought 30 years ago from the original owner. I do all my own work and it's still going strong.
