  • The Mulloon Institute works with communities around Australia to restore and rehydrate catchments at the landscape scale.
    By better managing surface and groundwater, by rebuilding floodplains and by rebuilding catchments, the Institute's work is bringing back the processes that once operated in the Australian landscape.

    The Mulloon Rehydration Initiative is jointly funded through the Mulloon Institute and the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.
    The Maules Creek Landscape Rehydration workshops which were supported by Local Land Services.
    The Regenerative Grazing Tools for Burdekin Soils and Pastures project is delivered by NQ Dry Tropics with support from the Mulloon Institute and Grazing Naturally, through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.
    Landholder funded, on-ground works at Eva Valley Meats, Old Cameron Downs (Fiona McBean and Pete Cogill), in collaboration with the Mulloon Institute and Territory NRM.
    The Upper Mooki Landscape Rehydration Project is supported by North West Local Land Services, through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program and Catchment Action NSW.

    I see only good outcomes from these initiatives. They are based on foresight and intelligent data gathering. It's also great to see the local landowners coming together to save and rejuvenate the earth.
