Wouldnit be possible to get married on a tourist visa in the US. Then leave the country again and life in a diffren country with the spouce? Because then the intent is not on actually becoming a resident but on getting married.??🤔

Thank you for the video. I'm an American citizen, 50yo, and receive SSDI income. I met my partner 6 months ago on Filipino Cupid match making site. I'm a paraplegic with epilepsy and unable to travel to the Philippines which is a requirement of the USCIS whereby I first travel to visit with her and then provide this proof to them upon my return to the US and then filing for the K-1 Visa (I-129F) form. I'm hoping my partner can come to the US under the Visitor Vias whereby she IS NOT my fiance (I have not asked her to marry me) but she is only coming to the US so we can spend time in person with each other. So if she would come here under the Visitor Visa whereby having informed the immigration officials of her intentions to come here to spend time with me and then we would happen to want to get married, will there be problems with customs officer or immigration office (USCIS)

I have a question about whether it would be faster right now in September 2023 to file a fiancé visa or a marriage visa to bring someone to the US?

My Girlfriend & her 19 yr old Daughter both have tourist visa. We have been dating for 26 month; I’ve visited her twice in her country and she has visited here 3 times When they come in Feb/2024 my girlfriend and I would like to get married while she is in the US She must return to her country to work for her employer another 10 months before she retires. She & her daughter would like to then return to the US permanently to live here with me.
After we are married, what forms do I need to fill out and submit to make sure we are following all of the immigration laws & rules so they can stay in the US once they return here.?

You should meet with an attorney right away in order to get things moving forward.

What about if the US citizen flies down to Nigeria to get married? Someone I know did. She knew him 1 yr, flew down the beginning of this month (May 4) a few days later got engaged, had a bridal shower and 2 days later married the guy. Isn’t this considered fraudulent or suspicious of how quickly everything was done??

Wow, the same question was moving in my mind and here you made a video exactly on the same topic., Thankyou , I have a question, please tell me, according to you, which option will be easy, better and fast:-
    1. Getting married on a tourist visa after 90 days, file the petition along with AOS and wait for the interview.
    2. US citizen visit the country of his fiencee , married there and then retuned back to US and file the petition in US.
    Thankyou

I have a strong preference for adjusting status in the US, but there are some fraudulent intent issues to beware of if you enter the US as a tourist.

@@DarianLaw thankyou for the reply and your preference, there is no fraudulent intent but still
it will creat positive impact on petition if marriage take place after three months ?

@@रोचकतथ्य-य7र Marrying after 3 months isn't the main issue as long as your relationship with your fiance is longer than 3 months.

@@DarianLaw hey thank you for this helpful information. One question I have was is it legal for your fiancé to come to the states from Canada as a tourist with the intent of returning and when she arrives, we get married in a courthouse and then she actually returns to Canada within six months?

Even you told the officer and he let you in easily?! Can you please clarify that a bit? Thanks

Hi! What if you have a usc fiance and have been in LDR for more than decade already decide to fly to US with the real intention to just go and visit for couple months then u guys changed ur mind, got married then the tourist returned to the home country and go back again after a few months to US as a tourist. Will the custom official have a record of the marriage at the time of questioning? Or if they ask, can u answer that ur status hasn’t changed since the last time u visited and ur still single? And then eventually, decided to do the AOS while in the US, will u be able to have a strong case?
Thanks in advance. Your insights and advices are really helpful to everyone who’s got lots of questions regarding immig processes!
