31/40, as a Brit I'm reasonably happy with that. Good Roulette questions, they are now logged. Also, it's hard to spell Hungarian names and Liszt is no exception.
Yeah, I'm not feeling good about making two typos in a quiz. I don't mind a screw-up every now and then, but clearly I need to do a better job proofing. I guess I was too busy making sure I got Saint Saens right and just let that one slip by... Thanks for being kind in how you pointed it out.
The second I heard the song in question #9, I thought it sounded like a Danny Elfman piece before any of the answers showed up. And then he actually does make an appearance twenty questions later ❤
I can absolutely hear it. Aquarium is also used a lot in theme park music - a revved up version was used for at least some version of Space Mountain at Disneyland and I think it's used in Epcot's France pavillion (maybe Soarin' too.).
Dang it. It didn't feel right when I said it but I never went back and verified it. I guess I was too hung up on coleoptera... I haven't had a good pronunciation fail in a while, so I guess I was due. I just wish I hadn't misspelled Bangladesh in the same vid!
😮Tron came out in 3:58 1982 .. 11 years before Super Mario Brothers. The first gold record given to Glenn Miller on 2/10/42 for Chattanooga Choo Choo. Sold 1.2 million copies to that date. Bangladesh... not Bagladesh Need a fact checker?
While Tron was video-game-themed, it was not based on a specific game. There were Tron games later which were based on the movie, but the movie came first. Super Mario Brothers was based (loosely) on the game of the same name.

Trajan is pronounced Tray-Jin. Not Tra-han.
