- Making winged bowls from rengas wood, rosewood and trembesi, in this process requires very high patience because it is difficult to punch a hole in the middle, for finishing I use linseed oil and beeswax

Stunning design! Love how the oil finish enhanced the woods' colours!

Super nice great job 👏 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Dennis 🙏
Beautiful
It is beautiful but, why did you turn the wings shorter? I would have left the wings to support the piece and turned off the underside of the bowl so it would set on the wings.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you so much Jack.. 🙏🙏
Nice.
Mayuko i am unable to rate your work as i find all of it incredible. I have my favorites and this is definitely one of them. My first reaction was it reminded me of Swan wings as they curve down. The colours of woods that you put together always compliment each other. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. Take care. Shirley from the UK.
You're welcome, thank you also for your attention to my work, yes you are right, because color composition is very important in a work of art, I am still learning and will continue to learn, greetings from Indonesia
What an incredibly ingenious lidded bowl! It is absolutely astonishing! What beautiful woods and grains. I love it! Thank you for sharing your amazing projects.

Thank you for your assessment of my work, hopefully it can be entertained and useful.. 🙏🙏
You might like something called. (EEE Ultra shine.) I have been using it alot lately. On both softwood and hardwood. It is a multiplier paste. So if you sand to 3,000 like in this video it will then advance it to 10,000 without going through the sanding progressions. I turned a piece of ebony into a glass mirror finish using that stuff. The harder the wood the better the reflection. I'd like to see you try it out. The product comes from Australia I believe.
I just heard about this product and it looks interesting and I have to try it, thank you very much for letting me know and I will buy it soon
@@mayukowoodturning7644 You will not regret it. It will be a good purchase.

If this bowl were cylindrical and not conical, and from a single raw wood, it would be morebeautiful ...
