*Just bcuz someone can do better in difficult exam make them officers, although the study has no significant role in their day to day work. People with no experience with tax & accounts selected as IRS, where as a student who has no practical knowledge about forest & vegetation given charge to protect a forest as IFS, even a tribal can do much better than IFS, just select a Local tribal with education. IAS with no administrative experience given charge of whole districts. What if we select deserving candidates who has prior experience in the field. CA should be prerequisite to become an IRS, the moment he opens an account he can detect tax evasion. For every IAS administrative experience should be prerequisite, like handing a team of 50 or more people in a fast paced environment. Why government is in hurry to select officers. Officers with prior experience can be given charge at any level. Even if some officers dont get selected they still have experience with which they can work anywhere, there will no set backs in their lives.*
bro...after getting selected into ias category ,you're directly not given authority over any thing .first prepare very well in all subjects like public administration, ethics.etc. ....you'll also have to be trained in mysore ,Hyderabad etc, and then you'll be trained to work at ground and secretarial level by visiting different rural villages and ministry head office as well as parliament. even during the training period you'll see all the diverse culture and tradtions of India .you'll be trained to on laws enforcement, and execution and implementation of gov't schemes .after the training is over ,you'll not be the district head but rather you'll be sdm, after five years of experience as an sdm, you'll be given the post of district collcter....
so don't say anything without looking deep into any matter .isn't this an experience. ?
