I think Susan Twist will end up being part of a family of God's.
She's a "Director" who loves self insert cameos.
Sofare every episode this season has been based on television tropes.
    It starts with a...
    ●Gameshow, hosted by toymaker
    Then a...
    ●Christmas musical with Xmas miracle
    ●Children Show, with a nanny
    ●Musical, hosted by Maestro
    ●War Drama
    ●Psychological Horror
    Next...
    ●Reality TV
We see a lot of 4th wall breaks this season.
It started with The Doctor Duplicating the Tardis buggsbunny style, with the slap of the toymakers hammer😂

See...told you so. It was an excellent episode. And Rose showed that she was capable of carrying an episode herself. I loved this episode. And to me Ruby is a combination of Rose and Clara (something I think I heard you say also). And (no spoilers) I loved how, despite the split, the continuity was maintained at the end.

Very bold of them to not have the doctor in this episode. Having a solo companion episode this early on worked really well and we got to see what Ruby can do.

I LOVED this episode. It was creepy, it was expertly acted, it was greatly written, and the resolution leaves a lot of GOOD questions. One of the best Doctor Who episodes in many years.
When you were talking about coincedences, I was reminded of Garak's comment: "...but I do not *trust* coincidences."
OMGS I love that you referenced Kate!!! I got the same impression that this was not Kate Stewart as well.
I think that Roger ap Gwilliam is going to have another part to play. Kate kind of indicated that what Ruby was dealing with was an alternate timeline... so we'll see.

After Dr Who and House we need more tv shows of your local low end public option... In my case... The plotline is. "Doc I lost my limb!", "Doc my kid ate cyanide and is dying", "Doc I have a cancer". "Worry not! I prescribe advil" . He hands them advil prescptions and everything goes on like a drama. All smile and... die? Ok. Dr Who is neat still. Way to wate time. :)

I think Ruby is Susan’s daughter and Susan was the one who left her at the church

Only Yanks see politics in everything.... Unfortunately Disney is on the nose in the USA atm because of the far right. So it's a up hill battle...
    Good talk btw😉
