I don’t understand the Debby downers. We won a game nobody thought we would win. Bo didn’t turn the ball over or take any sacks? Who cares how many passing yards he got….it Doesn’t matter. It was a weather game & nobody was caring about stats.
Eh I thought they would win, didn't think the score would be that low tho. But there was the hurricane factor, which played a huge roll. Jets are overrated af and always have been.
Well, if you're at all concerned about the development of Nix, you should be worried. He did not look good (again) and is currently ranked near the bottom of just about every QB stat for all QBs. I don't care about the win...I want to see Nix IMPROVE...there is no future if he continues playing like this.
Bo demonstrated a lot of poise to be able to overcome a frustrating first half, not turn the ball over and take any sacks and do enough to win. He can bounce back at home.
Yes, it rains a lot in Oregon. But it’s not the same type of rain that they got in New Jersey yesterday. Most of the time the rain in Oregon is a light drizzle, not a torrential downpour. When’s the last time Oregon got hit with the outer bands of a hurricane?
*the stats that everyone is talking about* Bo passing yards at half, bo passing yards to end the game *The stats everyone is ignoring* Bo 0 turnovers, bo/o-line giving up 0 sacks vs a terrific d front. They harp on the first one because it pushes the narrative that he was a reach in the draft, and that the broncos are a bottom feeding team. They refuse to talk about the latter because it shows that the rookie is learning. He had a HORRIBLE day probably due to the hurricane rain which is much different than just regular rain if you've been through one. But, he was smart enough to see that the defense was going to win that game, and played smart. For a guy in his 4th game you can't ask more. I bet you Rodgers would take bo numbers if it meant getting the win. Everyone harping on Sean about how the offense(bo) looked Hackett, and the jets did the exact opposite, and thats what cost them the game
@@stoutllc8900 i wouldn't say good. I'd actually say that yes it was bad. But, even the best QBs have bad games. But, what do those good/great QBs do when having a bad game? They play smart, and don't lose the game
Bro Aaron Rodgers is known for having huge hands he’s at an advantage in the rain with grip so obviously his stats are gonna be a little better not too mention a big chunk was on a catch that should’ve been overturned and he threw double the amount of times. Rodgers is a hof and was throwing the ball into the dirt multiple times. Give the kid a break
I'm telling you people are truly idiotic! Bo Nix is played four games in the NFL! He played in driving rain with a NFL football that's slightly larger than the college football!! He's not 40 years old with 47 years of experience most real Denver fans are getting tired of people attacking the offense before they even get a chance to figure stuff out
Bro Bo Nix has played 3 of the top 5 defenses in yards allowed already. He played one of them yesterday in pooping rain yet he was still aggressive didn’t put the ball in harms way and had the best throw of his career so far. Relax let’s see what he does against some more susceptible defenses in the next few weeks.
We won, the running game came to life in the second half, and they were playing in a pretty bad storm. I'm a bit worried about weather affecting Nix in future games but other than that I can't be upset. Defense looks amazing!
Can we please give Zach Wilson some credit here? Zach was tasked with playing the role of Aaron Rodgers and ran the opposing offense in practices leading up to the game. His game prep intel on the Jets was very key to the Bronco D success. Give the dude some credit.
These defensive guys are going to have names at the end of the season. The problem is, they are complimentary - as they move one their performance will drop. VJ is rocking their careers.
Some perspective is needed. In his first 4 games Bo faced 3 of the top 4 defenses in the league. That 4th defense that he did not face is our own. He played 3 of his first 4 starts on the road in tough environments as well. I honestly can not recall offhand any rookie QB having it that tough in his first 4 starts. Let's give it some time and enjoy watching him develop before we run him out of town for the next QB we run out of town after 4 starts.
zac is the biggest homer ever lmao. atp u gotta respect it. aaron rodgers made some rlly great throws yeah he was bad but zac giving bo a pass and saying rodgers played worse bc he got sacked is so absurd. bo had a great drive and threw a TD, but rodgers outplayed him and it was pretty damn clear. no ones holding him to a higher standard than anyone else were comparing him to NFL QBs. the mental gymnastics are so weird
@@brandontaylor1688 he was a lot better. that throw over cody barton was amazing and there were plenty of plays where he navigated out of sacks and found a guy downfield. not to mention he threw for almost four times as many yards as bo. he was better straight up and thats fine to admit we dont have to lie just bc we want bo to succeed. i still believe in Bo him not outplaying aaron rodgers in a rainy game is not a massive indictment on his career
If your only argument is Rodger had more yards that is not going to work because they had the same yards per attempt meaning if Bo had thrown 42 times he would’ve had the same yards
The one in the endzone wasn't a bad throw, Nix had to get it over the underneath defender. We also would have had another touchdown if Sutton doesn't slow down on the 2nd and 20. There is a pass for Nix, because he admitted it bothered him, Payton said it messed with things, even the Jets were talking about how the rain messed things up. You also have to take into account Payton went conservative again, and when you call conservative plays, it doesn't let Nix be Nix which makes the offense as a whole play worse. And again, we were Sutton slowing down away from Nix having two touchdowns. And yeah, you guys are holding Nix to a higher standard, the things you waive away for Rodgers you are pounding Nix for, if Nix had done 42 he would have ended with about the same yardage as Rodgers, based on the stats
I don’t see how y’all can be concerned about Bo from yesterday’s game …. It’s one thing if rogers was tearing it up first half but both were struggling big time from the rain …. He def gets a pass this week… every one relax lol … go broncos !!
What kills me its alot of hate for bo after the game not forgetting aaron rodgers couldnt do shit in that weather either and they both had great defense come on seems alot of yall are fake fans
I agree with Zach. I'm giving Bo a pass for this game and all of his mistakes so far. He will have to learn. I feel like, because our fan base got used to great QB play (Elway, Manning), we have too high, too early expectations for new QBs. We did the same with Drew Lock, who clearly was not what we thought he was going to be, but we got sooo excited when he had the initial success. We need to be more patient and wait for our guy to develop into a great QB. Peyton Manning set a rookie record for most interceptions thrown at the time...just saying.
No one is attacking Bo 🤦♂️ Most of the people are saying that he still has things to improve, and y’all get defensive and start saying that Rodgers had worse game, etc, etc. Someone sucking more doesn’t make you not suck. I’m sorry, but Zac’s homer takes are a little too silly to take seriously. Like, we can be excited for Bo developing and still recognize that it’s a process and this offense may not get much better this season. In fact, Bo can continue to get better and the offense still look rough. Dropped passes, missed blocks, and quality coverage are all factors beyond the QBs control. It HAS to be concerning when you look at how poorly this team has been scoring. It’s not good. Bo is a rookie, but also he isn’t playing well.
