Thank you Richard for sharing your experience.
I plan to relocate to Switzerland in the near future after completing my Computer Science degree in Germany.
Maybe I'll see you when I get there.
    Vielen dank 🙏

nice video! I’m a fellow software engineer myself currently working remotely for a US company, but I’m permanently moving to Switzerland next month and going to relaunch my career there. Can’t wait!

    Hi Richard, nice video.
I wanted to ask you about people who work in Switzerland but live in France.
This would be a very good thing for me because I'm already a French resident and it would make everything so much easier.
Do you know anything about this subject?
    Thank you

I would guess that if you have a bachelor‘s degree in IT and are reliable, there‘s a chance. I think human resources is often quite superficial when it comes to CVs and not necessarily have the competence to evaluate you well, that‘s why they usually want a certificate.

I will tell you how the work in Switzerland really looks like - it is a labour camp , this is a German culture of work. Most of people start very early (7:30) and you have 1,5-2h break so from mondad to friday you work, eat sleep and repeat. Selfish culture, team work is non existing and this hierarhy structure…. When I worked in Switzerland I felt like a slave, a worm compared to for example Norway. In Switzerland even specialists work like common workers.
