Kazuya never forgove his father Heihachi, unlike Pai Chan from Virtua Fighter who forgove her father Lau Chan before the events of Virtua Fighter 5 (Lau was dying from illness). I also think that Namco copied the idea of the blaming for mother's death (Pai Chan blames Lau Chan of her mother's death- she died of overwork, because Lau was always training. Different thing is the Mishima family and Tekken 7 explains that Heihachi killed Kazumi and throw Kazuya over a cliff).
