Murphy B. The whole point of VR is that there are no camera angles. You, the viewer, get to decide what you look at at a certain time, which provides a better simulation of reality. In the movies, what you see is what the camera points out, and you only get that perspective. However, in Star Wars, the way the camera is positioned is so beautiful and cinematic, that I would prefer to watch it the way it was filmed instead of deciding to watch it my own way, as my own way would not look as cool.
If you look behind you when the credits stop and the ships start to fly in, it looks like an official alternate scene they could've used. It looks so cool. The way the Star Destroyer hid behind the Tantive IV really hit me in the nostalgia.
Thanks to this video, I learned the opening crawl comes from Tatooine ^^ And seeing the reverse angle shot of the two ships coming at me was a pretty cool experience.

Agreed, they couldn't possibly take out or even disable a Star Destroyer so they may as well have redirected the energy to the aft shields to buy themselves time to escape the ship.
In a lot of ways: Everything was rendered with Maya and Adobe Premiere. Models were downloaded from other artists (links in description). Tattooine is just a satellite photo of African desert on a sphere shape. The stars are just a photo I stole from a planetarium. The text is are images on a plane shape. The lasers are prolate spheroids with a glowing phong texture. Does that answer your question?
This was awesome. I can now imagine a new movie experience toppling IMAX in the next 10 or 20 years. 360 degree movies! Hopefully I live long enough to see that a reality lol

I think If the person who did this would reupload this video with better graphics I mean it's been three years he could easily port some new textures and make this truly amazing.

They didn’t use CGI in the first scene with the Ships passing by. They used props with Blue screen using a rod to pass them by
