BEFORE RESTORATION! - Irving Upright

This is a before video of an Irving upright piano, about a hundred years old, that we will be rebuilding. Slightly better than average condition for a piano this age, but still in rough condition. The piano was probably tuned recently, within the last ten years or less. Both the sharps and the white keys are in pretty rough condition, and what looks like a burn on one of the higher keys. The hammers are worn deeply and in rough condition. The dampers are worn out. The strings are very rusty and corroded. We won't have to deal with the upper termination. Thins are very dirty in this piano but that is standard for a piano this age. The bridal straps have at one point in time been replaced, probably twenty or thirty years ago. The inside is dirty and old and covered in spider-webs and needs some new parts all around. We will get this piano rebuilt.
